One A Day 2.0: Day #290 - Contest of Champions characters - Arabian Knight I, Blitzkrieger, Collective Man, Defensor, Peregrine & Talisman

I'll pass. After, "Spider-Man, but a woman", "Spider-Man, but a different woman in black", "Spider-Man, but from the future", "Spider-Man, but with a drooling problem", "Spider-Man, but a clone", "Spider-Man, but an evil clone" "Spider-Man, but red and psychotic", "Spider-Man, but a six-armed copy", "Spider-Man, but a girl from the future", "Spider-Man, but a reverse of 'Spider-Man, but with a drooling problem'", I started to lose interest in the Spider-Man derivative characters. So, I just can't be bothered with "Spider-Man, but Iron Man" or "Spider-Man, but from Chattanooga" or "Spider-Man, but in a pickup truck" or whatever the hell their next Spider-Man is.

Pardon me boy, is that the Chattanoga Spider-Man?

If they announced Spider-Man India, I’d mainly be hoping that the legs could be repurposed for an Arabian Knight figure, though I appreciate that puts me in a Venn circle of one…

Would definitely get the Rangers and Graviton though.

I'm looking forward to "Spider-Man, but from Topeka" myself! I mean, how can I truly have a complete Spider-Verse shelf without him and "Spider-Man, but in a Pickup Truck"?

I've always low-key really loved the comic book version of Spider-Man India. He might be the last or very close to the last Spider-Verse figure I really actively want. (The movie version is truly a work of art, but I like the simplicity of the comics version too.)

At least two. I'd definitely go for Contest of Champions Arabian Knight, especially if he came with his flying carpet. He died a stupid death which somebody should have reversed. Also liked the second incarnation of the character, but after a cool debut, they've done little to nothing with him. Maybe they're trying to avoid the whole Middle East debacle, especially with Israel's disastrous behavior in Gaza. It's a shame because I could see a heroine like Sabra having a real problem with her government's actions. It could also parallel with how many Americans feel about our own current administration's behavior.

I've cooled a bit on Spider-Verse variants, but this version of Pavitr is still a big want. Feels like he's the last big need from the "original' Spider-Verse, before it really exploded and the variants started being counted by the hundred instead of the dozen. The animated version is a great design but also a different variant, so the original Spider-Man India is very much on my radar.

At least two.
Make that three! I'd pick up Arabian Knight in a heartbeat.

Yes to Silhouette.

Spider-Man India is the kind of character I don't really need but if he was in a BaF wave I wouldn't mind getting him. That's true for most of the Spider-Verse variants; I'm not too concerned about getting them but if I do for some reason (BaF wave, box set) it doesn't bother me. They're cool together but I don't feel the need to have all of them.

Nah, fam I am definitely in that circle of 'want Arabian Knight' as well.
