Yes obviously for Cypher... I'm down with the rumor that he's coming already. My secret hope is that the head comes with a taller body for Sam and I can pop the Doug head onto an extra Roberto body

But I wouldn't mind a well done Douglock, and I'd probably pick up a couple of those more recent looks

Never a big fan of Cypher, or Douglock, but would appreciate the chance to complete an early New Mutants team.

Regarding a potential training suit New Mutants team, I wonder if they could re-use the Pizza Spidey torso and add new legs and arms for a taller, leaner body for Sam? Might keep the costs down a little. But the odds point to a body that comes with heads for both Sam and Doug to go with 'Berto.

Only in that it's an existing piece of figure that has a lean build that would suit Sam. But it definitely needs new updated arms and legs. So it may not be worth their effort.

Would I buy? I'd buy the remainder of the original team all Day #1 instant purchases - Red Wolf & Lobo, Firebird, Texas Twister, Shooting Star and Banshee.
Which version? Classic versions all the way.

Will Hasbro step up to the plate and finish off this team they just started in a timely manner?

Just reread this issue this week! Love it (and the team) to pieces ... even if Texas Twister is weirdly racist to Red Wolf. They'd be so welcome as additions to a shelf. Especially if we can finagle a Lobo to go with Red Wolf. I adore obscure bronze/ copper age heroes.
