One A Day 2.0: Day #188 - Pete Wisdom

I might actually try to paint the clawed Mandarin hands fire colored to see if it works for his hot knives effect. For now I use a fire effect blast (I think I'm using the one from MCU Loki's sword?) but the claw would look cooler I think.

Pretty Boy's face isn't perfect but it it's wild how good it looks as a stand-in for Pete.
Glad it turned out so well for you. It's a shame the skin tones aren't spot on, but the smirk and the hair are pretty spot on unless you're trying to go full on Larocca. I woudn't mind an Excalibur era Colossus either as that was kinda his outfit from Uncanny X-Men #325.

Loved the suggestion - I actually went out and bought a Pretty Boy head loose from someone on eBay to make it. It's a good blend of how different artists drew him, more rugged than the artists who drew him pretty, not as grotesque as the artists who drew him as a bit of a mess. The skin tones don't match perfectly but honestly, my office where I display figures has mediocre lighting at best so I don't even notice it on my desk or shelf. I do need to figure out the hand situation though - the claws that came with Mandarin are too perfect to not use as hot knives. (I'd previously been using the old suit body with a Jamie Madrox head for Pete and the air color not matching up bugged me, and the Jamie head is too darn handsome for Wisdom. this works way better.)
