Volcana is a big yes. Costume updates/tweaks to the remaining ones I'd probably buy.

Agree Volcana powered-up is the biggest want. Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman was also introduced here. She certainly deserves a first appearance Secret Wars update/backdate ? That Wasp costume is pretty iconic, not one of her best looks in my opinion, but I'd likely pick it up if they redid her in it. Have the original Wrecking Crew but probably would buy appropriate size, well done new figures. Ditto Molecule Man. Zsajii was important in the series, so likely a pick-up.

Jim Shooter was kinda like my generation's Stan Lee...he was EIC when I started reading and established a personal relationship with readers in his columns the way Stan had decades before. Like Stan he was also a great writer, even with flubs like Avengers #200. The original Secret Wars was a huge deal early on in my comic collecting/reading life and I would take figures of every character you listed Beamish. Shooter was definitely a polarizing figure with other creators but there's no denying his talent and his impact. And from what I understand he was ALWAYS kind and friendly with fans.

Catching up, I'd be down for Rek-Rap, & Handbook version of Killer Shrike, as well as the versions of Falcon, Volcana, Wrecking Crew, Iceman, Molecule Man, Cyclops, Rogue, and Wasp that were featured in Secret Wars!

I will take literally anything and everything from Secret Wars. It’s still my favorite all-in Marvel “crossover” of all time.

I'd buy Volcana and Zsaji. No real interest in any of the others. I'm sick of repeats and rehashes and need to just stop buying them.

Secret Wars got me into collecting comics again. I would buy everything Beamish listed except for Professor X.
Top priority is Volcana. Really hope she's in a wave 2.

I agree with everyone else, who says this, Volcana is a MUST HAVE. She's in my top 15-20.

Volcana is a critical want, but I’d happily buy everyone presented. Those specific costumes do a lot to cement that era in my head and I’d love to have them. In for them all.

And even though I have the Wrecking Crew already, I agree that they’re in desperate need of a redo in better-scaled and updated bodies. Fully in for them as well.

Day #81 - The Korvac Saga: a Tribute to Jim Shooter
Today is Part 2 of 2 of my tribute to Jim Shooter's significant contributions to Marvel, and some of his creations that should have been made into figures by now.
NOTE: I had more days planned, but I don't have time to really focus on them unfortumately. I have to wrap this up early.

Would I buy? Day #1 purchases - everybody listed

The Korvac Saga.
My favorite Marvel story ever.
I want them all in the proper costumes.
I had a few opportunities to talk to Mr. Shooter about my favorite story at a few SDCCs, but he was either swamped with people or I was too busy. Silly, stupid me. I would have thanked him for writing this gem and questioned what his system was of keeping track of all of the characters involved. Also, why available (on earth) Avengers weren't collected by the Collector - Hulk and Hellcat. Swordsman was dead, Mantis in space and Black Knight was a stone statue at the time. Hellcat wouldn't have contributed much but can you imagine Hulk going toe-to-toe with Korvac, at least for a few panels until Korvac would have changed him into puny Banner? I also wish Wanda got to go against Korvac or Carina alone and had some impact. She had just taken down Ultron, she should have had more impact than her one panel "death".
But I digress.
I love that story and re-read it every few months.
I won't stop asking for all figures involved until we get them.
Thank you Mr. Shooter for this and so many other stories from my childhood.

So much yes to ALLLLLLLL of that. If we had all those figures, in those costumes, I might just dedicate a whole shelf to the Korvac saga. Korvac himself would look coolest in his cyborg form but I would even buy his boring green t-shirt and shorts look, since it was so essential to that iconic story.

And in regards to other Jim Shooter tributes, I have to admit that if they made figures of his ill-fated baby the New Universe I would likely get them. I'm not necessarily longing for them, but if figures of Starbrand and Nightmask and even Kickers, Inc. came out I'm not sure I would be able to resist the nostalgia.

Except possibly Porcupine. I wouldn’t hate that version, but I do prefer the look of his orange costume.
Heck, I’d even take Porcupine’s henchmen.

My dream display is having the collected Avengers in tubes just like the ones in the story lining the wall of my man cave with Korvac on one side the Collector in the other.
My dream x2 display would be to have all the classic Avengers (pre-Bendis) in tubes along with their teammates.
