Day #29 - Happy Mother's Day to the mother of the Celestial Messiah - Mantis

Would I buy? She's my #4 most wanted character, so that's a big, old YES!!!
Which costume? Classic all the way. Human skin tone. I'd begrudgingly buy plant green skin tone in the classic costume. No GOTG jacket or insect-looking versions for me.

The fact that we don't have Mantis yet is just ridiculous. Since comic Wong was made last year, Mantis and Nebula hold the record for appearing in the most MCU projects as a main character yet don't have a comic figure counterpart. All Hasbro's talk of finishing teams and adding to rosters - Mantis adds to both the Avengers and GOTG rosters.
If her costume is "too problematic", then Hasbro should do what they should have done with Moondragon - don't have the bodice go all the way down to her navel (Moondragon had other costume issues that could have easily been fixed, but I digress).

Make Mantis happen, Hasbro!

Classic human skin tone version all the way. She's also in my top 10. A shame we don't have her after the character was in the MCU.

Absolutely want Mantis. If we were only to get one comic Mantis i would definitely want the classic look from the first image and her classic run in the Avengers. If we were to get a second i'd want the blue and red Guardians of the Galaxy look - so the two on the right in that last image. No to green skin, no to blue skin. just a nice classic Mantis would ve amazing though.

I said it before. Give us a classic Mantis with colour change like the Zartan figures. She is human colour regularly and colour changes to green. Two-for-one!!!

Emphatic yes to first look Avengers Mantis, although I would also pick up a green-skinned West Coast version. Aside from some of the original Guardians of the Galaxy, aren't she and Swordsman the longest established Avengers without figures ? I can't believe the costume is an issue in 2025. If it is, get around it. Do a Hasbro Pulse or SD Comic-Con two-pack with Mantis and Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne).
