Big yes to Acroyear and pretty much any of the classic Mirconauts.

On a related note, I watched the first episode of the unreleased Micronauts cartoon on Youtube the other day. Let's just say it was a good thing that abomination was never released. It was terrible and the designs were so bland and generic that it could have been a cartoon for any of a dozen brands that had cartoons in the past decade.

Here is the first episode because why should I be the only one who has to suffer through it........

Day #104 - Dan Yun's pick - Ultimate Green Goblin (Jonathan Hickman's recent version)
Dan really thought about this. It took him two days to give us an answer. I appreciate a thinking man, and his choice was worth the wait!

Would I buy? Yes!

I'm unfamiliar with this version of Ultimate Green Goblin. His design is very sleek. He'd make a cool figure.
Dan's pick last year was Rek-Rap.

I do dig the GG look in the Ultimate book. A sort of cross between the Raimi movie version and an Iron Man type of design. Would I buy it? Well...with this economy I'd likely pass because I don't need to start a collection of characters from another universe. If money and space weren't an issue, I'd likely be all over that.

It’s a nice design. As Gillman said, though, I don’t have a desire to start collecting Ultimate universe characters on top of what I already collect.

Love Checchetto's art, but I'd be a pass as 1. never liked Ultimate comics and 2. haven't read this series.

This is where I'm at too. So many of the characters I said I'd be a pass on are due to these constraints. Otherwise, I'd literally buy everything that was produced.

I appreciate Dan sprinkling in modern looks to our poll. I would get GG, but agree I don't need a whole Ultimates sub-line. Spidey doesn't look appreciably different and the rest of the characters are relatively minor or not costumed generally.

I actually like that Green Goblin design, and I say that as someone who outright loathes the Raimi-film’s design. I’d buy it.

Pass. The only Ultimate designs I have any desire for are Thor and the other Asgardians.

The series is really good for those who haven't read it.

Maybe. I have started reading it, but am not up to the point of Green Goblin's introduction. Agree it is good based on what I've read so far. When there are still scores of never done characters I'd likely pick up, not sure I'd want to start getting versions of their biggest characters from a distinct new universe.

I like that GG costume is basically a blend of the original suit and the movie suit. I don't know that I need it - but I'd probably buy it.

Definitely yes to a figure of Acroyear! Always loved that character design.

I never saw this version of Ultimate Green Goblin before. It certainly looks like a blend of Green Goblin, the movie armor, and Iron Man, which is perhaps fitting considering Iron Patriot. I really like it. I’d be excited to get a figure of such a cool looking design.
