New York Comic Con Oct 9-12th 2025

I might be out of the loop, but do we know if anyone is going to be streaming the panel this morning? I know they have a pre-prepared video for after it.

Alright, I’m in the Hasbro panel room for when it starts at 11. Got here early because last year the line started about 90 minutes before.

Totally empty this year, though, probably because it’s first thing in the morning. Last year it was a late afternoon panel.

OK, so the BAF wave is exactly as expected and that's great -- I intend to pre-order the whole wave!

I'm very thankful to be finally getting Gorgon and Triton for the Inhumans!!

Spider-Man 2099 again already is weird. We've already gotten him on the classic Spidey retro card once. Cardiac is incredibly exciting! That gives me hope that the rumored Hypno Hustler and Owl figures that were in the same leak are also accurate and we'll see them later this month.

I'm extremely disappointed that 12" Apocalypse is the MTO. I think that's going to be the first MTO pass for me. I can't say that I was excited about the idea of Bastion either, but I definitely would have rather had Bastion than Apocalypse here.

Of all the MTO options speculated about, this was the one I cared the very least about, so I’m kinda bummed by it. I’ve never felt the need to own Apocalypse at any more than 1/12 scale - never picked up the Toybiz one, even when he was dirt cheap. Saves me some money, I guess. Mangog waits another day…

Griping done though, there were some great reveals - the Inhumans 2 packs, Werewolf, Executioner and Enchantress are all easy, easy buys. Reveal of the day is Cardiac though - that’s awesome (and presumably confirms that Owl and Hypno Hustler are on the way too, which is even more awesome!)

A giant, made to order X-men '97 Apocalypse figure. He's gonna be 12 inches tall. ;) :P lol

95% re-use Super Skrull is $46.99 while the fully new tooled and all new accessories and a cool cloth hoodie/cape Pythona from Classified's is a dollar cheaper at $45.99. I know Hasbro has to pay a licensing fee to Marvel, but that's just crazy, value comparison wise.

Lots of great reveals today! The highlights for me were Skurge, Cardiac (who got lots of cheers in the panel room), and the Apocalypse made-to-order figure.

While I would’ve preferred Bastion and am not sure this version of Apocalypse was even in X-Men ‘97, it looks great in person. They’re really building out that universe, with 24 normal-sized figures between the three waves and two-packs and then the Sentinel and this Apocalypse.

He's in X-Men 97, but you have to stay until after the credits of the last episode. Probably a bigger role to play in season 2 (actually, almost certainly considering where everyone is at the end of season one).
