Has NECA ever said anything about making dioramas for the TMNT movie line? Like a movie sewer lair?

Disappointing. Would’ve thought they would given they’ve made two separate accessory sets.

Wish they’d re-release that movie street scene and the first movie’s accessory set. Looks like both would set me back $600+ according to eBay!

I really wish I hadn't passed on the accesory set, but money was right that month and I didn't really want it that much at the time.

I'm surprised they never did the antique store, to be honest. Seems like a good way to re-issue and then sell a billion foot soldiers.

Didn't have to be, it was a cool ass throne. Makes sense why they'd make something so visually striking.

I don't recall Randy being dismissive of a Turco April. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. He was pretty dismissive of everything outside the first movie initially, but the stuff kept selling and we got a bunch of stuff they probably never intended to do at one point. We're at the point where if there isn't a figure of a certain character in these movies it's because either NECA thinks it won't be a seller, or the actor isn't willing to play ball with likeness rights.

Looks like NECA is releasing Ultimate Turtles from the first movie with most of the pack-ins from the (very expensive) accessory pack:

I'll definitely be grabbing these. The only missing accessory I'm seeing is the street sign.

Also, I saw that people are starting to get the 35th Anniversary set shipped out. Is it likely that NECA puts any more up for sale? I'm regretting not ordering it, but it was an expensive period when it was up.

I hadn't decided whether to collect just the toon line or movie line when this was listed in like March. I should've know I wouldn't have the self-control. Once I dip into a line, I'm in for a penny, in for a pound, as the saying goes.

The baby turtles are also missing from the accessory set. I passed on the accessory set for the first movie and don't really regret it. I like some of the extras that come with Mikey so if these are relatively easy to get I might get just him. I definitely don't need another set of movie turtles otherwise.

Professor Perry took a shelf dive and now his glasses are missing. I'm pretty sure I will never find them again. Thinking about posing him crawling along the floor looking for them, Velma-style.

Randomly change him out and put him in other displays with other action figures. The meta joke can be that without his glasses, Perry doesn't know which display he's in.
