NECA Mirage Comics line

Right now NECA Store shipping to the UK is significantly higher than it used to be but releases over here are so sporadic and often delayed (Tatsu) that when figures are offered via the store I tend to go for them just because it's the fastest/most guaranteed way to get them. Especially if there are multiple I want to counter the shipping fee (like Nobody and the Image Turtles next week).
 
Very serious question: is it sacrilege to put the brass knuckles fists from the gangster set on Raph even though they come with Mike? Cos I feel like if anyone's going to beat the bag out of someone with knuckles it'd be Raph.

Do it the way you want to do it! The multipacks always come with a bunch of extra hands. They're not meant for any single turtle specifically, except maybe the ones where there's space for the center blade of the sai to go between the two fingers. But they're meant to be shared.

I usually, especially for a set that's based on a specific comic story, like to keep things true to their intent, but I just LOVE the idea of gangster era Raph with brass knuckles. And, alternately, Mikey playing with dynamite? That feels in character. I think I'm gonna swap them (esp since this set the skin tones match up just fine between the brothers).

Also, just showed the set to a friend and he goes "Peaky Reptiles?"
 
I ended up ordering Body Count Casey and the Karai direct from NECA. Also put the Archie Turtle April in there. I figure they're all three listed as shipping Q4 this year. Apparently NECA doesn't charge me tax and shipping was $8.99 which was like 30 cents more than it would be to wait for Target (which may still get them first anyways, not to mention probably be more accurate!) and pay tax, if they're even getting these "limited" ones.

I imagine it's in response to how things are now. So, it makes sense that they're not doing huge runs of certain figures (especially tertiary characters or alternate versions like these). Just means they won't be doing more runs of the figures. I'm fine with that.
 
Just got an email about Cyborg Donatello, Shredder Raphael, and Nobody. Nobody's one of those characters I always liked for no specific reason. Not a character I expected them to make.

Raph's face never wins in any Mirage timeline, huh? How many versions of him end up one-eyed and beat to hell? I always thought TMNT loves beating up on Donnie the most but Raph has a tendency to look like ten miles of bad road no matter what.
