NECA Mirage Comics line

Whatever happens, Trevor has the right attitude. If NECA loses the license I won't be sad. They've given us a pretty comprehensive collection of various takes on the turtles. Few collections are ever truly complete to the point where every character has been represented, but that's never been my goal. Even with the toon line, if we never get Tempestra is that some huge loss? I didn't even remember her episode until I saw it again as an adult and I only care about having her now because of one image from one episode where she's among a bunch of other rogues. I'd only be disappointed in a lack of standard Archie turtles, but at least we have the fun wrestling ones. Plus, I bet they're on the agenda for 2026.
 
If NECA can give me Radical and Complete Carnage along with Image Leo, Mikey & Pimiko then I will happily call the line complete. Would I love more? Sure. But they've hit pretty much all of the essentials at this point.
 
Shame there was no actual Mirage figures on display. I'm guessing nothing until SDCC now and then they'll probably do a really quick pre-order after the con like they did last year.
 
They do sometimes release stuff without ever showing it, like the Shredder two-pack, but those Sakai turtles might be taking a slot from Mirage.
 
Both good points. Leaning towards the Saki figures taking the slots but hoping for some surprises.
 
The Sakai Turtles look great. Hopefully they’re not a hassle to get.

I wonder what else will be the Haulathon stuff. I know there’s a robo Tokka/Rahzar pack, the vacation Slash, and the figures revealed today from the ‘87 line, and the Nightmare Shredder Demons (or whatever they’re called) shown at NYCC. Don’t think there’s anything unreleased from the movie or Monster line that will actually be released.

Trevor was naming off stuff in the videos, but it seems to be the Sakai Turtles, Robo-Tokka and Rahzar 2-pack, Foot Bot 2-pack, Tiger Claw, and Super Grover. So far.

It actually looks like all the Tales of the TMNT and Urban Legends books are on Kindle for relatively cheap per volume. I generally like to own physical copies now given all the fuckery with streaming companies removing shows and having them unavailable but I’m not paying $600 for the Urban Legends stuff or $50+ per Tales volume.

I’m guessing there’d be at least two of these. Nice they’re putting these all out in hardcover. Hope they do the same with the Image run.

Also, I finished the Mirage volume 2 hardcover with the 1993-1995 issues. It entertaining. The art was a little sloppy and the scans themselves weren’t great, but I enjoyed it.

NECA could do the robot/cyborg/whatever it was version of Baxter Stockman and the ‘90s version of Nobody.
