NECA - General Thread

Got Samurai Predator today. Damned good looking figure. I love the effort they put into this braids / head tentacles and how they work on this figure.
He's great. I was having predator fatigue, but was pleasantly surprised at how well the figure moves even with all that decorative armor. The improved articulation scheme really, really makes a difference. And I appreciate that they went the route of having straps that aren't actually connected to other bits of armor to allow for things to have a wider range of movement without busting anything.

I think the only thing I'd want is more weapons with it (not just multiple staffs), but it's a beautiful figure.

That is where you are so wrong.

Edit, not sure why spellcheck corrected Valak to Valencia, but hey...you understood.

I finally opened up my Samurai Predator and I have to agree, with work on the "dreads" is incredible.

I am having trouble getting him to stand though I can't seem to get his feet to stay flat on the shelf without toppling forward/backward.

I'll need to get my 3 Samurai Spawn figures from storage so they can all hang out together. Maybe even the more samurai inspired Halo figure I picked up a couple years ago.

Go on.

I did, I actually figured maybe that was an alias in one of the Nuns or something, since I haven't seen those. I don't stray from the core movies really. And you know how demons are; really full of themselves so their fake names aren't all that different.

Apparently he's seen in his true appearance, what the figure is based on, only in one of the Annabelle movies.
Seen in Annabelle: Creation, which is one of the better entries for the spin-off films. I'm really happy to see this, as I think some of the demon designs in the Conjuring Universe films are actually pretty cool. This is the demon that inhabits the Annabelle doll in the series.

Shit. Ah well. That's okay. I don't need to have things just because I love the movies.
Good news is, you can still pretty much find The Nun and Crooked Man at retail (I've seen The Nun at Walmart in their clearance section). I haven't seen Annabelle in stores in a while, but I'd be shocked if they didn't do a new run of her at some point.

Man, that's tempting as I thought all three Annabelle sucked whale turds, but it is a cool looking figure. Was he the demon that was horribly acted by the film's composer?

Ah, so the head shown is the Malthus from Annebelle Comes Home, so not portrayed by Bishara (to answer my own question).
It looks like it has alternate heads and swappable lower legs for both the Creation and Comes Home looks...so, you weren't really wrong!
