Neca Fortnite TMNT

They look cool, but I'm anti-do-rag Raph look in general and they don't look like they come with alternate heads. I think I can do without these. They do remind me of the 2007 film though.
 
I'm curious to see what kind of numbers these ship in. It's odd timing too since the Fortnite collab was so long ago.

Also of interest, these were originally announced as a Walmart exclusive four-pack. I wonder if Walmart backed out?

They look great but I'll pass. I'd rather focus my money and shelf space on NECA's Mirage and 2012 lines (and maybe Mattel's collector line depending on how that turns out).

Plus I think they just come at a bad time for NECA with the licence a bit in limbo. The designs are good (barring sticking to Fortnite's everyone is the same height limitation), and if they were doing the full Fortnite set (Splinter, April, Casey, Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang) it could actually make a really nice display of the core characters. But personally I just have no desire for another set of just the Turtles (and Shredder in this case) and at this time there's no guarantee the others will get made.

NECA seems to take their time with April. It's surprising to me she hasn't been shown in the 2012 line. I wonder if she tends to under perform? Hard to tell since the cartoon ones definitely sold well, but I'm not sure if the movie and Mirage ones did.

I'm still sad that they canceled that yellow jumpsuit variant of Judith.

Wasn't there a rumor that Judith nixed it? I can't remember where I heard that from. I think she didn't like the frumpy look of the sculpt, or at least that was the rumor.

I haven't heard anything about why, but I suppose that's reasonable.
 
I’m just gonna assume any April we haven’t seen at a recent show is canceled…

Because it’s weird NECA didn’t do ANYTHING for April April this year, right? No sculpt reveal or box art for Archie human Ariel, I mean, April, or any update on the probably cancelled Jumpsuit movie April or even an Instagram video of Judith Hoag being like “whoa! Thanks for being fans!” like in the past Or whatever. Not even a “did you know Last Ronin, Mirage, Universal Monster, and April as a Turtle April figures are in stores now?!” post…

Not sure if it’s further proof they lose the license soon or just that after Randy got bullied off the internet by chuds the company’s sneak peek game has continuously slipped away to nothing now reduced to “oh fuck, right! We made this! It goes on sale tomorrow, please buy it!”
