So now it’s April 2025, and there is no images or even a peep from Neca about this toy line. I know, they said they might have some reveals down the road, but I feel like this line is officially dead now does everybody feel the same?

I don't think it's dead. NECA said more is coming.

Elkhorn was one of the best figures of 2024. I need more from this line.

I realize this properly isn't a red hot line and NECA has a lot of other irons in the fire, but I think we're way overdue for another figure from this line Hopefully at least one, but I'm hoping for Mercion or Melf to even out the forces a bit.

This reminds me I gotta get Elkhorn - Strongheart was a GLORIOUS figure. And I just DMed Wilds Beyond the Witchlight last year so I kinda want all of Valor's Call and League of Malevolance in the same scale (the Mythic Legions homages to Ringelrun and Kelek not withstanding).

Oh hey, if Melf is on the table, know who I'd love? Mordenkainen.

Was wondering if we need a thread for the Super7 D&D figures too. picked Hank and Sheila up and now my D&D figures collection is a disaster between NECA, Super7, and Hasbro.

I didn't grow up with this line at all, but I absolutely love these figures. It would be a shame if they don't make any more, but I'm certainly not holding my breath. That said, if they only made a couple more, I'd like to see Kelek & Melf.

I really love this line as a kid back in the 80s. I was so happy to see them in a 1/12 scale, such detail was put into these figures, I really like the effort Neca put into this line. But it confuses me why Neca doesn’t want to put a lot of effort into selling more action figures on this line. I always thought it did well and there’s so much more different varieties they could choose from from this line at least by this time in April I thought maybe some test shots could be shown or some mention of, hey we’re still doing this so don’t give up sort of speech from them. But not hearing anything about this line that I’ve checked different websites. It feels like. There is more to do for this line, there’s more creative ideas and designs. I feel collectors will be interested in those renditions they do, but that’s just hopeful wishing for me.

I never had any of these as a kid but my collection was lacking in the fantasy segment so I picked them up. It was my sacrificial offering to my inner collecting demon to try and pacify it so it wouldn't demand I collect Mythic Legions.

So, on a related note on this topic. It feels good to talk about these things to my fellow collectors on this forum,It’s cathartic. However is there usually a way to let Neca know we would like to see more from Dungeons and Dragons? I feel I want to be more proactive as a fan of this line.

Picked up Elkhorn, finally, to use as an accessory kit for my custom Mythic Legions dwarf. He's seriously worth it for the kit he comes with alone. I'll be selling the figure itself, but might get a couple more for the backpacks. I'm a sucker for adventuring party gear. Legions has a lot of weapons, but the world building stuff like the crystals, the jug, the torch, and especially the backpack just scream fantasy adventure at me.

Fingers crossed they have more on display at SDCC. Looks like a lot of their newer lines didn't really take off, or didn't sell enough to warrant a full steam ahead push.

I feel like it must be dead but I really hope it isn't. I've never been into D&D much, it was only the cartoon and the LJN figures that caught my attention back in the day. I've loved what Neca have done with them so far and would 100% pickup any more that they do make. The only other figure they haven't done yet that I had back in the day was the paladin in white armour, would be lovely if I could finish the set...

Yeah, the line feels dead - just added Elkhorn to a BBTS order I had in the queue because he'll work with my Legions but doesn't feel like we'll see more from this line. I will say I think Strongheart might be my favorite NECA figure ever though. Really hit a nostalgia nerve for me.

Sorry to say, D&D, Dinosaurs, Gargoyles, Flash Gordon...

Last I heard...

:::slides finger across throat:::

Don't Drax me on this.

Gargoyles is the only NECA line I went too deep on, and I regret it, not even because of quality issues... because where the hell do I display those massive wings.

Honest to goodness folded wings for the various Gargoyles are my number one thing I want some thitrd party cusrtom parts seller to make. Honestly I'm so grumpy NECA left it like this.
