My favorite Turtles line and maybe my favorite action figure line.

I'm loving the "what if" releases like Wyrm and Panda Khan. I think I'd be in for just about any vintage figure being remade in the cartoon style this way.

Picked up ‘toon Shredder from the Haulathon shipper this morning. Not even sure if I’ll open it, I’ve kept a lot of these single Ultimates packaged. I’ll gaze at him for a while then make up my mind.

But if you don't open him how will I know how the articulation compares to the original Shredder. Won't you think of my needs at least sometimes Norm.

I gazed. He looks REALLY good. Beefy. Bigger than the old versions. I'll probably cave and open him.

Articulation on the old one was so awkward. He could honestly look the same and articulate better and I'd still be happy but I'm glad to hear he looks better too.

I found Animated Shredder at a smaller Target today in the regular collectibles section, no shipper. They also had the 2-pack with a ghost (?). I don't think they had anything else though.

When you guys mention shipper are you talking about a cardboard shipper that they put out in the middle of the aisle that has the figures in it?

They've never done that before have they? Don't they usually just come in a standard shipping box that the Neca rep opens and stocks on an end cap?

Yeah, I'm talking about the green cardboard shipper with individual shelves for each of the exclusives. It made up a little island next to a similar shipper for Pops, next to the NECA/collectibles shelves. To my recollection, this is the first time they've been distributed this way, at least at one of my stores. The other store where I found Sesame Street Count at, he was the only new figure I spotted that day, nothing else that would have been in the shipper.

Some places are putting them directly on the NECA shelves. I think I've even seen pics on end caps. I'd say, if you're gonna look, be thorough.

Ok I opened Shredder, and bought the last one today so I could keep one in package. The figure is great. He’s at least half an inch taller than the original mold but definitely beefier. The articulation is an improvement, specifically with the torso pivot and ankles. The accessories are plentiful but mostly irrelevant to me, since my memory of the show is nonexistent. But he looks and feels superior.
