NECA '87 Toon TMNT

I was mistaken. I thought they removed it for the Pizza Club, but all they did was darken the skin and change-up the plastron coloring.

Toy Shiz has what might be the first look at train conductor Shredder. For sale at the con and online starting October 9. It really just is a look as he doesn't really talk much about the actual figure. I would have loved to know how hard it is to get the crossed-arms off and on. It doesn't look like they separate in the middle and they connect at the shoulder.

I found the vacation Turtle 2packs and mother/baby Rocksteady & Bebop. Got the two turtle packs. Bought an additional cheap toy to bump them up to the $20 off value. Can always return the cheap extra toys. Although I used the MOTU sketchbook Spikor for one, which I may keep. Knocks about $5 off him and $15 off the turtles.

Yeah, picked up the 3 2-packs at my Target. I wasn't going to say no to the Bebop and Rocksteady set, but with that $20 off sale, I mean...you gotta, right?

Train Conductor Shredder is up on NECA's website. He will run you $50 plus shipping:

So far, I think we have zero toon reveals at NYCC. I wonder if they're holding anything back for the weekend? I can't remember if NECA does that for NYCC or just San Diego. I also can't remember if they pulled anything out at San Diego this past year after day one. I thought there was a good chance we'd see the new toon turtles, but maybe they want to hold off with the vacation ones just hitting Target. And I did think this was finally the event that would showcase Tempestra. Still could happen, but waiting on that one has taken so long it's starting to suck the fun out of it.

I was able to place an order for pickup on Target's website for Granny Bebop and Baby Rocksteady a few towns over. I half-expected it to be cancelled, but it was not. I guess these might be stocked by Target if they're in inventory? Either way, I picked it up and it's pretty much as expected. Very silly, but that was the 87 show for me. Like past iterations of the pair, they share a lot of parts and most of the torso is done with just overlays. They get decent range in their legs and shoulders as a result, but not much in the torso. Soft goods on Bebop are pretty decent and the stroller has working wheels. Handle is pretty rigid and thin so avoid the edge of the shelf if you can. Not much else in box aside from Bebop's purse, Rocksteady's binky, and some extra hands. Might be a tough sell at $65 so I was happy to take advantage of the $10 off promotion going on right now. I also saw the vacation two-packs when I was in the store, they look as expected. I got the SDCC set so I'm all set with those. I don't need two versions of the turtles on vacation.

I mentioned on someone else's video that I wasn't a fan of ToyShiz's, because the first video I watched of his was him at a panel booing & swearing at the people running it for not showing what he wanted to see yet. (I refrained from commenting on how classless I think it is having poop words in your name.)

Next thing I know, he's smarmily commenting on one of MY videos, "Nice channel."

He's a fucking piece of shit.

If you have $50 and want a Dark Turtle, he's live right now on NECA's website. One of my personal favorites in the line so far.

Jordan is an alright dude. But he is quick to respond if he thinks he's being slighted at all. Believe it or not, I...of all people...have had to point out that he has misread situations before.

But otherwise, he is a decent guy.
