I mean they did offer to pay the return and everything, so I have no sympathy for anyone that thought they could still keep product after that.
Don't know. I think I heard of one or two folks that got refunds because their order could not be fulfilled. Are there people out there still waiting on their Lab?
I was only charged for one set, otherwise I’d have just driven to Walmart on my way to work and returned the second set for my money back.If NECA and WM can't figure out the problem, it's on them. As long as you're not getting charged double.
And NECA tried to fix that mistake, but then there's people such as yourself that decide to throw a fit over that instead of just shipping things back easy peasy. It was a mistake they were more than willing to rectify.Don't know. I think I heard of one or two folks that got refunds because their order could not be fulfilled.
Some people that I have on ignore here seem to think I'm condoning keeping the labs. I'm not. However, at the end of the day, we are once again attributing this to *NECA* being the one's to fuck up in the first place. THEY screwed up. Not the people that received them. Had NECA not screwed up in the first place, this wouldn't be an issue.
Didn’t they have an elemental affiliation in the show during that mystic storyline in the woods? I could be mistaken, I haven’t watched it in a few years, but that would certainly make your decision easier.I was only charged for one set, otherwise I’d have just driven to Walmart on my way to work and returned the second set for my money back.
BUT RAPH IS ON WALMART!
Hopefully I receive the ONE I paid for and this whole dark chapter can be closed…
So dumb question… which element would you all assign to which Turtle? I got those Tamashii effects for Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire and thought “well those might cool with a set of Turts…” and I think these are the Turtles to be those Turts… probably is… who gets which element?!
Like I think it’d probably go Leo: Water (“be like water”), Raph: Fire (hot head), Mikey: Wind (I think he’d ride an air ball like Aang), Donnie: Earth (would lend to metallurgy, like he could use it to find impurities in robots to strike their armor)… but even that doesn’t feel right… would love any opinions on this very serious and critical matter.
So you're not able to read? And NECA tried to fix that mistake, but then there's people such as yourself that decide to throw a fit over that instead of just shipping things back easy peasy. It was a mistake they were more than willing to rectify.
Not dickriding anything, just pointing out that they went out of their way to make it easy to return the things. Guy.So you're not able to read?
I said that this never happened to me. However, I'm not a dickriding NECA apologist, unable to see their mistakes. Jesus Christ, guy...
And I repeat--had THEY not sent a 350 dollar item to multiple people...TWICE...there wouldn't be a necessity to have that happen. Not dickriding anything, just pointing out that they went out of their way to make it easy to return the things. Guy.
They used the Furinkaza, which is Fire, Wind, Mountains (so… Earth), and Forest… which is cool because my lastname is the Chinese word for forest so when they did the minimates I got a kickass base with my lastname printed on it, but I’m not sure if that translates well to the Western/Avatar: TLA Four elements. Not that Leo: Wind, Raph: Fire, Donnie: Earth, Mikey: Water in place of Forest doesn’t work… but it feels like when I make a strong choice about what elements the first three Turts should be the last one is always “and you get this I guess…” and Mikey: water feels like “sorry, bud! Show said Leo was wind!” And if the show had used the four elements instead of Sun Tzu’s writings would Leo still be “swift like wind” or would be “swift like water”Didn’t they have an elemental affiliation in the show during that mystic storyline in the woods? Rise is just Mystic weapons, and if Rise had given them elemental powers I wouldn’t be asking because Rise is my favorite reboot of the series.Or Rise? Did Rise do that? Or was that just mystic weapons? I didn't really pay attention to that one.
I actually like the idea of 2012 Mikey as water. It’s adaptable, has “flow,” and can also quickly overrun you if you don’t respect its power.
