NECA 2012 Turtles

Hah, I must have missed it. Seems like he was this color in stuff like video games and toys, but definitely not in the show. For my own sanity, I went and watched a typical episode that takes place at night and one from when they were at the farmhouse. If anything, he's portrayed even lighter in the episodes with better lighting. There's also no shortage of shots with him and Mikey together and the difference between the two is almost imperceptible.
 
This set is going up for order at roughly the same time as BBTS is finally processing two Hiya Godzilla figures I've had on order forever, 5K Toys wants second payment for the Fury Toys Monkey King I ordered months ago, and Mondo is probably putting up the first wave of 1/12 MotU figures. And my Prime and HBO Max annual sub are renewing in a week or two. What am I doing with my life?!
 
Mondo will at least have those up for a month pre-order...right? They're not doing the short exclusive BS are they? Cause I want a Clawful...
 
Seems likely, yeah. Not sure if it's been explicitly stated or not though.
 
I would say “TBD.” Depends on if they’re doing multiple SKUs like they did with Ghostbusters. More likely than not, there will be ample time to order and once the window closes they’ll be available in some form at other retailers.
 
We still talking about 2012 TMNT figures from NECA? Are they being sold by Mondo too?
 
Ha. :) I whined about all the money I "have" to spend this week on nerd shit, including these Turtles, and Mondo's MotU line was one of those others.

$50 shipping to the UK. Given the saving with the exchange rate that's not bad split across 5 figures. I was thinking of passing on this line but I really enjoyed the show and they look really good. I swear this will be my last line (barring TNM if they ever go there).
 
I was going to order two sets, but I think I'll stick with one for now.

So annoying about Leo only having a closed eyes alternate head, though. I might just paint in the eyes on the alternate pupiless one.
 
I wish they weren't pre-orders. I trust NECA's in-stock shipping more than ordering ahead of time. Im gonna get awful squirrely if these start showing up at Target before they fulfill my order...

I pre-ordered the What We Do in the Shadows Toonys from NECA...

Last Toy Store has theirs in stock already. Not even so much as an "address change request because they're getting ready to ship" from NECA.

Same goes for the Art the Clown Ultimate. Ordered two of those and the Toonys featuring Babyface Killer and Grabber. Hearing stories that people who only ordered Art are asking where their shipment is, as NECA themselves said they had him in stock--and NECA outright cancelling orders.

Not sure what's going on over there, but man, do I miss the NECA of old.
 
I don't like ordering through them either, but I also don't like having to hunt these down at Target. I think these will be a little harder to get than some of the more recent offerings so I'm happy to just be done with it. Now I just hope they deliver.
 
They do have a section on the site that lists what is currently shipping and when stuff is expected. They hardly ever send out notices, seems like I'm always getting told by FedEx or whoever that they finally sent something.
