Four turtles and a Shredder gets free shipping - not bad. I wish Leo came with a portrait that had normal eyes like the rest. The closed eyes isn’t bad, but it’s a poor choice for an alternate when it’s the only alternative.
 
At one point they said the Turtles all had three heads. I assume tariff price increases means they cut back on accessories a bit, so either there'll be an accessory pack down the line or more heads will be pack-ins? I can't imagine they're just ... not gonna make a regular Leo head. The show had too many expressions/looks for them not to find ways to include more throughout the line.
 
It will probably come with a variant Leo. You’ll have to get the variant Leo to get the normal eyes, buy then you’ll have one variant out of a set of four so you’ll then feel compelled to get the variants of the other brothers! Diabolical.
 
Especially since there's really only one set of variants I'm really interested in, and a regular Leo head wouldn't exactly make sense for that version.
 
my first thought exactly, what's up with Leo not having a standard head? he's just always disappointed with his turtle bros. I'm going to wait and see how these turn out. this sounds crazy but I'm not sold on these being better than the playmates releases. obviously the accessories are better and plastic will be better but just toy design wise, not sold.
 
I’m not big on a lot of the designs in this show (not here to yuck anyone’s yum, I know a lot of people want this line and I want that for you, I just know I’ll be sitting most of it out) so it’s unfortunate I won’t be getting free shipping because I can’t endorse this Shredder…

Turts look amazing though! I displayed my Revoltech versions with whited out eyes so those faces don’t bother me much, but hope there’s an accessory set too because they made so many crazy faces on this show I’d want them all!
 
Yeah, I'm getting that bundle, I'm buying them all anyway so it's a no-brainer. These look fan-damn-tastic. And with a show like this, I guarantee we're getting an accessory pack. Maybe just a head pack? The show was known for the wild expressions. Could get something really cool there. Who knows. I'm excited anyway.
 
Has NECA ever done a head pack? Closest I can think of is that bonus set of movie heads with the TMNT III set. In all likelihood we’ll just have to buy more turtles to get added expressions unless they use them to entice people to buy less popular characters. It is what it is, but I wish the “Ultimate” thing would get dropped. My NECA Jack Skellington came with 8 expressions - that’s the Ultimate expression of a character.
 
One thing that I know is going to bug me in-hand is that it appears NECA went a bit too dark on Raph's shade of green. The merch like the Playmates figures went with a more obvious difference in color with the turtles, but in the show it was far less perceptible.
