MVL Part Swaps

Made peace with these Ghost & Bucky mods I did last night while pausing the movie:

Quantumania Wasp legs on Ghost solved the height issue, and gave her one of Ronin's hood down pieces (which I am randomly missing most of? I have four of that figure and had to pull this off one). I'm not going to permanently change any of these so the colors will add color to the shelf. :) Ghost's costume style is very similar to Wasp, so her arms and legs are a really good match.

Bucky is a Secret Invasion Fury with a Charmed figure coat and I think Fury's shoulder harness. He is not the right height or photoreal, but eh. Maybe I'll finally paint the Infinity War Bucky head I've had for a year and swap...

Just now noticing Pedro waving in the background. :)

So, question for everyone: does anyone know if they ever did the shoulder harness (usually brown, came with lots of different figure, has pouches on the front) in red? I’d rather not have to paint one if I don’t have to.

Well I went ahead and did the Shanna hair swap I wanted. I think it looks good. Best part is, it fits with very little modifications, and its snug enough I can leave it unglued and switch back to the old hair if I want, cause it also fits really snug. Fits better then some figures that are supposed to be able to swap hair. I did trim her head a little on the top, but it didn't seem like it did much difference so I don't think its necessary. It does still look like it sits a little high, so I may mess with it some more.

Who is donor hair?

I don’t think so, mostly brown and yellow is all I can remember, but the latter may be easier to repaint than the brown.

Anyone think of a left arm that is matched in heft and skin color to Random, such that his left gun arm can be swapped to a left normal arm? Looked at comic Gorr and various DCUC/McF Lobos but none will work.

Yes I know this is a weird amount of effort to go through for a character like Random.

Nah I want to do the same, your desire to ‘finish the figure properly’ is shared.

I’m leaning towards using an arm from a Thunderstrike to repaint/modify so that I can make the weapon piece more of an alt swap-in at the wrist like Bushwacker, but it’s a bit more work than I have time for at the moment so has been on the back burner for a while.

I kinda want to add a Tommy Wiseau amount of belts to him too so the hips don’t look so weird, he’s definitely a nice figure to have but being based off a previous buck doesn’t do him a lot of favours unfortunately.
