Wow! This is great news! I would love updated figures of Kermit, Piggy, Rowlf, Fozzie, Animal, Gonzo, Bunsen, and Beaker for the Palisades collection. Could this mean NECA will continue the DST line?!?!? That's not totally unrealistic, right? Whatever their plans, I am so pumped!

Hmmm, I may have to hold off on some of the Palisades Muppets customs I have planned. Depending on how the new Muppet Show special goes, I could see figures for characters like Mildred, Hilda, Zelda Rose, and Miss Mousey becoming much more likely than I imagined 3 months ago.

I doubt they'll continue the DST figures. These look to be new sculpts in scale with their Sesame Street stuff.

I love the DST line, and have a lot invested in them, but at the same time I'm overjoyed that we'll be getting these characters where they can be displayed alongside characters like Bert & Ernie.
 
This is incredible news! Might be why Sesame Street slowed down a bit, as they have a lot more to plan around now.

I skipped Diamond's line and I've had my fingers crossed they'd pick up the license. With the reboot on TV it's a good time to get things started.

I hope that pepe is eventually a part of the neca lineup. I was really disappointed about the diamond select One being cancelled. Also the palisades one is great but because of the rubbery material used for the jacket and antenna I'm almost scared to do anything with them. He's my favorite Muppet so I hope they get to him eventually. But presuming that the characters shown in the teasers are the first "wave" so to speak than I'm glad they're getting the core characters out of the way.
