Mondo

I'm not shocked. If you're actually into the set you're going to spend the extra money to get the couch. It's integral to the B&B design to the point where I see little point in the cheaper one. The only pull there is for Cornholio, but if I had the set I don't think I'd be able to resist the temptation to put them on the couch on a shelf somewhere. Maybe around Halloween I'd stand Cornholio up and give hom a trick or treat bag and some "rollios!"

Now, if Mondo comes back with a Santa Butt-Head and reindeer Beavis I'll probably succumb to that one. Especially if the set comes with a sleigh.

Turn a page. Wash your hands.
Is my favorite Filbert quote. These look great, though I do remember Rocko being a lighter beige on screen. Even the promo pictures seem to vary on his wallaby skintone. The all-white background-ed one looks like the more accurate of the two. Everything else is spot on.

Agreed on Rocko. I think they may have darkened his fur for the Netflix movie a few years ago. Possible they were told to match the style guide for that.

That's because Jhonen Vasquez got his 15 min of fame with that show. I can't picture a "Jonny the Homicidal Maniac" cartoon making it to Nickelodeon. I found the show amusing and stupid in a fun way, which is most of the criteria for Nickelodeon shows that I remember.

There's some pretty amusing social commentary to be found in Zim, but it's also one of those shows that's loud for the sake of being loud. I like it, but in small doses.

I love Zim for the randomness. But I also read JTHM and Squee through some friends, and I respect him as an auteur on the comic side, even if it's not all my cuppa.

I spend many a weekday shooting off Nicktoons voice impressions with original R Rated content to my oldest little sister (and nieces in turn) who remembers all the Old Ways with me. The younger siblings are ignorant.

So yeah. I'm gonna buy this Rocko set. And take it to a No Tell Motel.
