MONDO Masters of the Universe 1/12 and 1/6

You shut your dirty mouth!

Sell Mondo and make sure they're okay, I couldn't care less what happens to Funko after that!

I always figured mondo (and probably mezco) are two companies that could really get wrecked by tariffs.

Small companies selling an already expensive product. They can’t hold the inventory and stuff like a hasbro can

Of 30 POs I have at BBTS, nine are Diamond Select offerings between Marvel and Muppets. Four POs are Mondo’s RGBs. If they can’t get their act together, I might just cancel the GBs. I’d rather have none than one, two, or three. What a nightmare for these companies.

At this point I have Samhain and if I get Boogeyman I'll just stick them with my inferior (vastly) DST Real Ghostbusters.

How will you know? No need to panic yet, I say. Besides, the courts could still strike down the tariffs. The administration certainly seems to think so, judging by the absurdly alarmist and deeply stupid statement they released about the possibility.

Fine. I'll flip the couch back over then and pull Peter out of the trash can.

Funko has definitely become the new Beanie Babies. They just way over did it, and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Funko's 80% drop is over 3 years though. It's not like this has just happened recently. It's a 3-year decline. And things are also bad right now because they are being investigated for securities fraud for misleading investors.

I'm sure the tariffs don't help at all, but this is a problem years in the making.

I don't know what any of this will mean for Mondo, but I wisah them the best. I really like their product right now, and their showing at SDCC was excellent.

Yeah I agree. POPs are still kind of a thing but there’s a limit to how much collecting of them one person can do.

Let's also not forget they (Funko) just dumped approximately 3 million units into landfills because it was the best option. Really? 3 million units just dumped? Great business sense there. I'm glad they are being investigated. They should have been investigated and fined to the hilt for that so that it wouldn't be worth doing ever again, and as a warning to other companies.

Clawful is freaking huge compared to He-Man. They look cool. I still want to know the price before I make any decisions. I know they said these would be cheaper than the Real Ghostbusters. But I don't see how. Like Rick said above, these look like they'd easily top $100

Maybe some of the smaller figures, and maybe before tariffs, but now? I don't really see how they'll be cheaper either. But they've gotta be less than the 1/6 stuff at least! ... right?
