ML Secret Wars

I FINALLY got Magik in the mail today from BBTS. I nervously and gingerly took her out of the package, holding my breath the entire time.

I'm pleased to report there are no QC issues with mine at all. She has full range of motion in both arms. I got lucky. Maybe I should run out and buy a lotto ticket while I'm on a roll.

Now bring on the rest of the New Mutants, Hasbro! Let's finish 'em up!

Huh. I haven't even gotten the "processing soon" email from BBTS for Magik. I pre-ordered within seconds of it going live.

I dont think they've gotten her yet. Or very many if they did. If Target is anything to go by, maybe BBTS also got solid cases of each character and Magik just hasn't shown up yet.

Despite Magik's arm issue that I was thankfully able to fix, I absolutley love that they sculpted a cavity for her belt to fit snugly into so it doesn't flop around when you move her around. That a great little upgrade that means I don't have to glue it in place.

I still may glue mine in place, it wants to push up every so often when I pose her.

Which, I got Magik from Amazon already. She figure is very cool. I didn't have any of the arm issues reported here thankfully. But mine does have a weird issue with the knees I don't remember seeing. Mine feel like the ratchets on the inside tore off, but they stay posed just fine. And its not like its just one joint, its all 4 of them. They move way too smooth, but they still seem sturdy. It feels odd. Is this on purpose? Also, I was comparing her left hands between the old Illyanas and the new Illyana, and it looks to be very similar. If one wanted, they could paint the old hand closer to the shiny new hand and give her an open left. The old hand would have to be permanently altered to fit though, cause the wrist peg is alot smaller then the new hand. If it were possible to just get a hand i would consider doing it myself lol.

I had that. Freeze the figure to get the knee joint properly engaging the ratchets. Otherwise, I think you're just twisting the peg.
