There was a plastic hump on the back of her knee joint that I had to slice off because it blocked the articulation bend. Her left bicep swivel was gummy, but I got it to work without freezing or heating. Not the worst QC I've encountered. I do agree that she should have come with a left C-grip. I can't even think of one that exists to swap in. The one she comes with is a pretty specific sculpt.

Got Magik and I've been wanting her in this costume at this size for.. since Day One in 2002 really.

Very bare bones, yes. Could definitely use some extra hands, just to be fully functional, absolutely. Could even come with a swappable arm if they wanted to put in the effort. And/or a second more expressive headsculpt. It's a retro line so no BAF either, not a lot of value at all. I get that.

Still happy about getting it. Aside from the face portrait being a little dead it's nice. Some gummyness but decent. Certainly not worth the price. But this is a good figure, not great, and that's just Marvel Legends these days. There are some real standouts, some good work being done, but it's getting pricey. Hard to justify the cost sometimes, and this will be one of maybe 3 or 4 Marvel Legends I'll get this year. And this one I will put the custom work into, because I friggen love this character and look, I'll get her those hands she's missing, I'll get her that 2nd headsculpt, I'll increase the range of motion in her chest, but I'd rather I didn't have to.

I just finished watching PONIES on Peacock so "Russians" have been in front of me when this figure got delivered and I think if she looked more like the lenticular picture she'd be better? The really thick eyebrows and thick under-eyeliner could definitely be pulled back, as well as a gritted teeth expression. Or any expression.

Also, has anyone cut the hair tendrils off? I think it's the left one that bothers me, but I'm curious what she'd look like with just the hair in the back.

Oh, and PONIES was a fun watch. Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson are people of no interest in 80s Russia. Recommend!

So I have Two Magiks.

Mine are great out the box. But I've heard wider issues beyond this thread, and I've also seen there are more disparate yellows.

It's a real curse.

The first DD I got (my most wanted of that wave) had a plastic gouge. Replaced now, though.

I was most excited for Hellboy with his coat and cigarette hand. So of course I get the variant that has neither.

Okay, got the rest of the wave shipped from Pulse today. I somehow managed to NOT have everything arrive while I was out of town which is a treat for once to have Pulse's delay work in my delay. Three in one Fedex box and three all by themselves on DHL.
