I actually like that punisher... but I dont collect MCU... so...
Just be like me and collect Jon Bernthal.

I like the body but not the head. Bernthal has never looked like Frank Castle to me, especially not with this Jersey Shore pompadour he's sporting on this most recent figure.
I reluctantly ordered. I know Luna is a canon character, an Asian character, but she also looks like a fucking Fortnite character, and I really think she has no chance of blending in with my 616 collection. I have enough Gamerverse Spider-Man figures to thrown this one into their bin. But is this worth a $60 purchase? Fortunately, I have no qualms canceling at Pulse when/if the time comes.
Now is a good time to get in on Legends. Most older A-list characters are getting improved versions now, and they’re digging deeper than ever for more obscure characters to be released. A lot of recent stuff in the past five years is discounted too, deluxe sets and multipacks.I’m relatively new to purchasing Marvel Legends. I’ve toyed with the idea for years, but only recently jumped in. I’m primarily a DC guy, which includes action figures. But I’ve always been a bit jealous of MLs because of its long term nature and DC, comparatively speaking, switching vendors multiple times. My fondest wish was for DC to have a Legends like figure line. I’ve always kinda kept an eye on what’s coming out from MLs.
Believe it or not, Werewolf by Night was my breaking point. Had to have Jack. I’ve bought a fair amount of figures in a relatively short period of time, mostly based on my childhood favorites. I grew up a Marvel fan. Switched to DC in college. DCD followed by Mattel, followed by Todd, and now Mattel again has led to some immense frustration on my part.
Collecting Legends has been a lot of fun. Now I’m in sight of my end goal of finding the figures that I want. I’m not nearly a completist, but I’m still very interested in the future and am keeping track of what’s being announced and put up for preorder. It seems to be mostly media and game figures of late. I’m more of a comic guy and am hoping for more of that Monday.
And just from my past observations, am I out of line saying SDCC is generally where Legends breaks out their big guns? We’re about two months out now.
Mostly I’m referring to a lot of announcements of new product. Not specifically Spider-Man, Avengers, or X-Men figures. More comic based as well.I’m not sure what you mean by big guns. You talking about the SDCC reveals? Or the SDCC exclusive for the year?
