I thought we could use a devoted thread for all the Marvel monster/supernatural love expressed across the board.
As has been pointed out numerous times by numerous members, there is a sizeable untapped well of supernatural goodness just waiting to be immortalized in plastic form. Why Hasbro has yet to earnestly engage in producing these spooktastic sure-sellers is beyond my simian comprehension.
Hopefully, the recent debut of Werewolf by Night is an indication we may be seeing more from this largely neglected corner of the Marvel universe. Personally, I would love to see a sub-line analogous to the retro-card or gamerverse stuff, exclusively focused on the macabre and grotesque.
Dracula? Blade? The Living Mummy? Son of Satan? Manphibian? The Monster of Frankenstein? Satanna? The Zombie? Gargoyle? The list goes on.
What do YOU want, and how do you want it served-up?

Give me a "Tomb of Dracula" #10 two-pack to test the waters ...

... then a full fan channel wave for Halloween. Some personal wants: Robbie Reyes, Satana, Zombie, Lilith, Jennifer Kale, Manphibian, classic Daimon Hellstrom, classic Brother Voodoo (fourth time's the charm, apparently), first appearance Man-Wolf, new classic Morbius, new Elsa Bloodstone, Frankenstein or N'Kantu BAF.

Cap-Wolf figure if you *need* an A-lister.

N'Kantu the Living Mummy is at the top of this list for me. To be honest, I've never read much of anything with him in it - I just love the idea of a seven and a half foot tall mummy, and I think he'd make for a badass figure.

If they need A-listers, they can plunder ‘Marvel Zombies’ for zombie version of A-listers.
I’d like to see more from this genre too:
Ghost Rider(s)
Vengeance
Dracula
Gargoyle
Frankenstein’s Monster
Blade
Deacon Frost
Elsa Bloodstone
Manphibian
Silver Dagger
Living Mummy
Simon Garth / Zombie
Jennifer Kale
Brother Voodoo
Man-Thing
The Lillan
Scarecrow
Strawman
Varnae
Bloodstorm (Ororo)
Veffir Voon Iyax
Apocaloff
Cassie Starkweather
Satana
Rune
Baron Mordo
Devourer
Charon
Nightmare
Dream Queen
Arcana
Nocturne
Lilith
Caretaker
Mysterium
Chthon
Mr. Jip
..and so on.

I've said it before...

Colan Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Werewolf By Night and Living Mummy are potentially evergreen characters.
MCU Werewolf By Night has a built-in audience that would definitely buy this version.
Put them out when Target and Wal-Mart Halloween displays go up in late August. Put them in the Halloween section.
Every year alter their color scheme, alternate heads, etc. Voila. Evergreen characters.
Partner with Hot Topic and Spirit Halloween to sell them there as well as big box stores and Fan Channel.

We want them.
Universal Monster fans would snatch them up like hotcakes. They buy anything and everything even loosely related to the classics versions. Plus the articulation would be so much better than other versions.

Add in other Halloween-theme type characters:
Blade
Manphibian
Simon Garth
Agatha Harkness and other witches, warlocks and magic wielders
Lilith Drake and other vampires, like Jubilee
Mr. Hyde
Demons galore
Mythological/mutated/altered looking humanoids - Harpy, Gargoyle, Anaconda, Bushmaster, etc.
Sci-Fi robots like M-11
Zombified Marvel characters

This is such a win-win that it's hard to fathom what the problem is.

As a man who is on his third set of NECA Universal Monsters, I can confirm this.

It would also just be great to have versions of those characters who scale with the other lines I collect. How many times have I wanted to set up Indiana Jones versus the Mummy or Dracula.

90s/Vol. 2 80s handbook Werewolf by Night would make a good BAF, or maybe deluxe, cause of his form/shape. I've always liked the fully transformed look more. Oh, and other characters to add to this list, are my obligatory Madcap and Basil Elks Basilisk wants. ;) Both classic 80s handbook looks. <3

I was just thinking how Hrimhari could be an interesting figure in a supernatural sub-line provided they make him look badass. But I would much prefer that version from X-MEN annual #9 where they were in Asgard and Loki transformed he and Rahne into Grimfang & Bleakheart. That could also be another novel-customer-attractor because people LOVE that Howling-type werewolf design with the long snout & dog legs etc..

...and at least half the parts could maybe be reused for the more modern WbN?

My primary wants are:

Tomb of Dracula
Son of Satan
Zombie Simon Garth
Satana
Lilith Drake
Living Mummy
Karnilla
Brother Voodoo (classic)
Baron Mordo (handbook, classic)
Frankenstein’s Monster
Asgardian (not Wiccan. I want Billy in his debut costume)
Ulysses Bloodstone (Handbook)

I’ll throw in three suggestions I’d like to see.

Solomon Kane, in the style of the ‘70s Marvel series.

Marvel’s Frankenstein Monster.

Frankenstein’s Monster’s robot pal. I read one issue of Marvel’s Frankenstein back in the day. This is my memory of it:

It featured Franky and his robot companion being set upon by a horde of little freaks commanded by some wicked woman. The robot had one arm torn off prior to the battle; he used it against the goblin freaks until he was overcome. I never forgot how the panels depicted the robot’s vision fading, until there was nothing left but blackness.

One of these days, I’ll have to find out what happened.
