Mezzo takes a deposit, and then a few weeks before shipping they will bill you. Or send you a reminder to update your card because their system used to always time out with the saved data.

If you pay PayPal you do pay up front.

Now that you say it, I do remember them requiring a deposit.
Nice to know it's getting to the billing stage.
 
I honestly don't know about that. I've been on the Mezco waitlist since the last one went up for order and got cart jacked checking out.
 
I feel like usually BBTS gets what they claim they're getting. It can't hurt, anyways. People will likely cancel here and there so I wouldn't be surprised if a preorder opens up. That's how I got my Batman '89 when that one dragged on forever.

I'm not done with Mezco, but I'm being a lot more choosy. I had managed to avoid Doc, but his review also has me strongly considering caving.
 
Last Mezco I got was Beetlejuice, which I do love. The carousel and light up tombstone are both such well done accessories. But I don't have any of their more recent stuff on order. Had Art the Clown on preorder but canceled it when the tariff hike hit it.
 
I'm still very eagerly anticipating Samurai Jack. I went back & bought a 13" tall Aku from eBay to go with him. And I've got the two Batman the Animated Series figures on order.
 
The last Mezco I got was comic Morbius and man he is just right for me. His head is in scale with his body which Mezco has a hard time accomplishing and he is the perfect size to fit in with Marvel Legends. Plus the extra heads and regular head look amazing!
