Mezco One:12

I got Senor Blanko delivered by UPS on Saturday. The driver just left it at my side door. Thankfully I was home so I was able to go right out and grab it when I saw the truck. It's the fastest I've had something ship from them in a while. It must have come from their NY warehouse and not the west coast like the last Doc Noc I got did.

I had the Crab guy in my cart, went through PayPal and went to hit complete on their site and it flashed to "Your cart is empty", yet kept showing the add to cart button on the link for the figure for a good 2 minutes before updating to waitlist.

For the best, I need to grab another external hard drive tomorrow, so I'll save the money for that instead.
 
What is going on at Mezco?

Got an e-mail about Day three (Crab) at noon, clicked on it, saw that new Doc Noc was waitlisted. I get on list.

Got another e-mail at 5:30 saying Doc savage is finally shipping & there's a tariff surcharge! (do not recall thsi being a possibility at time of ordering, back in 1998)

Tonight at 9pm - an e-mail about Day One! Doc Noc, did you hear?

Tell us more about that surcharge.

And hold up. Are you saying that these releases were supposed to be a day one through day three thing instead of just smashed out in 2 hours?
 
It says, "Please note there has been a price adjustment to your order due to recently imposed government tax."

That said, it's characterized as a "handling fee" of $9.60 on the invoice breakdown.
 
My decapod gang shipped today and is on its way. I’m actually really impressed by that turn around time. Very un-Mezco to ship an in stock item before a month long wait. UPS ground saver, which is essentially the cheapest method through UPS so certainly nowhere near the $30something they charge for shipping. The amount of figures I buy from them has become less and less. Mostly wanted these for the outfits and accessories, no real need for the sea creature heads.
