Wasn’t Witchblade from Top Cow? When did she get snatched up by Image?

Top Cow is a part of Image.

I’ve spent part of a rainy lazy Sunday looking around Wikipedia and other places on the internet. And I’ve come to the conclusion that Todd’s DC problem may very well be mitigated by engaging with the other Image founders and making figures from their properties. But not just founders/partners. There are a lot of Image and former Image creators that Todd could draw from for source/content material. Continue the Multiverse line. Just without DC. This could extend to Dark Horse and other publishers specializing in creator owned properties.

The unvarnished truth is that he could’ve been doing this for the last 30 years. Think of the insane amount of creator owned properties that have come and gone in that time. Maybe it’s time for a Pitt redo. Todd, you up for it?

I would think Gen13 or at least Caitlin Fairchild would be a no brainer to do after Witchblade. Her suit was the most colorful and striking, but again, I dunno how that works with a rubber diaper. I liked the DV8 team, but I'm sure they're too obscure for figures if we're not getting Gen13.

I'll buy Spartan but I really want a decent 90s Grifter. Throw in Voodoo and Zealot for good measure. Put Void in a 2pk with megafig Maul or just do his smaller self in with his larger one. Ripclaw or whatever their metallic Wolverine character was called should round out the rest (I always get him confused with the Cyberforce equivalent). Don't know that I need their dwarven handler or John Lynch though if we're not gonna' have time to expand on the team much. Don't feel like the villains were really ever all that cool personally, so even if they made them I don't know that I'd buy them.

Would be fun to see McFarlane's version of Eric Draven's The Crow and SCUD the Disposable Assassin.

Unfortunately, when Todd loses DC, he loses Wildstorm. Fortunately, there is plenty of other Image stuff to draw from.

I think Astro City is long overdue.
