McFarlane DC Retro (Batman '66, The New Adventures of Batman, Super Friends)

I was trying to figure out where to order these from. I didn't need another Batman or Lex Luthor. Entertainment Earth had the case which includes the Evil Robin figure, which has not been shown, but sold out. I ordered Black Manta, Robin & Evil Aquaman from Gamestop. I am surprised the links worked, especially for Aquaman.
 
I was lucky enough to get the case from EE, but yeah I don’t really want Batman or Luthor either, so I ordered Manta and Robin at BBTS, just in case an opportunity comes up to get the chase figures somewhere else. They actually made Jayna readily available not too long after release, so I’m hedging my bets.
 
It pisses me off that there so many other characters they can and need to be made but they re-release Batman & Luthor. Luthor is still the same figure with a frayed judge's cloak. Put Hawkman and Samurai in those spots. Luthor is still peg warming in my area but not as much as Sinestro.
 
From the new reveals, I want to get Black Vulcan, Wonder Woman & Evil Wonder Woman. I also want Mr. Mxyzptlk, but I don't really need Farmer Superman. I will skip Crystalize Superman & Phantom Zone Batman.

I will keep saying it. It would be so easy to make the Challenge of the Super Friends & Legion of Doom in 5 waves along with the Super Enemies as Platinum Figures. Then make the other members along with alternate versions of Superman, Batman, etc.

Mxyzptik being unarticulated (it looks like) is disappointing but will likely get Supes just to have him, as he looks good in spite of that.

Black Vulcan looks good.

Not liking the WW.

Is this the last of the Super Friends waves? Was hoping they’d at least get to all the characters on the packaging.

The next rumored wave has the Atom, Apache Chief, Joker & Warpland Superman. I looked up Warpland Superman and he has an Eagle Head.

I found the latest wave at Walmart today. Just Black Manta, Evil Aquaman & Batman 2.0. My Evil Aquaman is shipped but I picked 1 up just in case. I can return it after I receive it.
 
I'm a little surprised they haven't included Scarecrow in the next two waves, or even a normal-sized Giganta. I'm not expecting McF to spring for proper dedicated Grundy or Grodd tooling this late in the game, unless he doubles Grodd with Solovar.

Of the leftover heroes, we've only got Hawkman & Hawkgirl, Rima, El Dorado and Samurai to go. But I think we're running out of road here, especially with the nutty Superman and Batman variants hogging the slots.

Maybe we'll get surprised with one last wave before the end of the year, using a few of these. It's also possible that one or two are part of that Warpland Supes wave and just not included in the leak.

EE charged for the case of the latest Super Friends wave, so it should be shipping soon.
 
I was at a local Walmart last week and they had Platinum Aquaman, Batman and Black Manta. Stopped today and they are still there. I wonder if they will release the rest of the wave later on. I only ordered Platinum Aquaman, Black Manta and Robin. I hope there will be a Platinum Robin released with Lex and Robin.
 
So not sure if it is a glitch but the Black Vulcan, Farmer Supes and WW wave went up for preorder on BBTS and sold out. I got the email from them with the link around Noon (ET) and all are gone 30 minutes later...
 
The case sold out on Entertainment Earth in a minute. The description doesn't include the platinums, but that may be subject to change. I tried getting platinum Wonder Woman on Gamestop but is currently unavailable. I'll try the store for a pre-order or hopefully find one when it comes out.
 
The three Platinums are only available for in store order. I highly doubt the EE case content will be revised.

I’m going to try tomorrow. Will take his image for them to look up the items.
