McFarlane DC Multiverse

I got her on BBTS, but I imagine she'll if not linger, at least be buyable when in stock. FIre's not that hard to find. (Though I do wish they released a non-flame on Fire, too, I'd buy her again.)

I like Ice a lot more than Fire. Translucent green ain’t very flattering. 90’s Wally/Flash looks great. I’ve always liked that Superman design and I really enjoyed the story it’s derived from. Passed on Rocket Red. Army builders aren’t my thing.

But I’m eager to see how/where/when Jack Knight, Gangbuster, and Black Condor land. Plus where’s Larfleeze? And what’s the deal with the Rocket Red chase? And are we done for 2025?

This has been a fun year for me. Hoping 2026 is better even though we’re probably closing out. Still hoping for an eleventh hour reprieve.

Count me as equally bummed. Rupert Thorne…Hugo Strange…Ubu….definitely some missed opportunities to continue to add onto the DCC collection.
Clock King, Red Claw, even the un-morphed Kirk Langstrom would be better. Montoya wasn't a BAF before, why would she be NOW?!? Jonah Hex was a pretty far left field character to choose, and I think Grey Ghost only showed up in one episode. Might as well do Leslie Tompkins, as she had more bearing on the series. I'd even settle for plain clothes Dick Grayson or Barbara Gordon to go with Bruce Wayne.

I ordered Ice and Rocket Red on BBTS yesterday. I have no interest in that Superman, and I'm pretty satisfied with the Walmart exclusive Wally West Flash I already have. In fact I like it better than the looks of this new one.

BTW, for anyone still looking for her it looks like Ice is still up for pre-order at GameStop and MTS.

Nah, too "spensive. That price is gonna kill me when he gets to Image characters I do care about. How do I justify 60 bucks for Spartan?
I'm not going to be able to justify $60 for any Image character unfortunately. Yeah I have some nostalgia for the early stuff, but that's well, WELL past my cut off.

The 89 Joker based on the Batman 89 comic (which he wasn't in so I don't quite understand but oh well) looks pretty good. I mean, the face looks like a better Nicholson likeness than figures of some actors that Todd DOES have likeness rights for. I'm probably just going to call him good and not worry about dropping $50 for a 3rd party head. If I can get him, of course, if I can get him.

Unfortunately I think Zatana looks a bit disappointing with those tempo stockings.

I'm paying more than that for Youngblood characters, but I guess I buy Loosecollector as a small company. Todd doesn't seem to have a remotely legit reason for the price tag.

Nicholson Joker seems good enough for my liking as it is, provided the hat doesn't rub the hair paint egregiously. Zatanna's face looks great. Could have used a wash and some damage or detail on Professor Pyg. Of everything shown I'm only in for statue Gambit from X-Men #1 and a couple Nicholson Jokers if I can manage to get him.

Interesting thing about Loosecollector, he tried to get the Spawn license and McFarlane pretty much said if anyone is going to do Spawn figures it will be me. That was when me and LC use to have email conversations but he's too busy now to take time to answer anymore so I just quit emailing him.
