McFarlane DC Multiverse

I really thought I'd just retire from McFarlane with the license gone but I keep impulsively picking up the classic look characters he's popping out here. Saw Hourman was available online and got Connor too since hey, free shipping. I'm still cherry picking but I haven't sworn off the line. Supergirl and Batman 1M just showed up from Gamestop. It's funny that the best Supergirl he's made is showing up so late in the line. 1M is just one of those Batman costume designs I've always loved and can't resist.
 
Found Connor today at Target - the gap between his hair and head is so large! It looks like a wig on Lumiere, or something in my memory I can't quite reach.

Is Hourman's cape easily removable? I kinda want it for other characters.

Also, check clearance - found six Orions for 50% off.

Easy in-store pickup for Hourman and Connor today. Lovely when that works out.
 
Saw images today of platinum variant for hawkgirl in the classic yellow and green colors with the red boot stripe. A little weird since it doesnt have the classic mask. Also a red lantern Guy Gardner, a Mr Terriffic in the yellow and black costume with purple face he had in the 2017 cartoon, and the Superman with the lion head and the platinum red costume Supes that goes with it.

Of all of that the only thing I want is the lion head... not even the rest of the Superman, just the Lion head.
 
I'll be skipping Red Lantern Guy and animated colors Mr. Terrific but I hope to pick up both Hawkgirls and both Strange Tales of Supermen (possibly multiples).
 
Anyone have a link to the Superman Silver Age Justice League figure on Amazon? Can't seem to find it. Found the listing on Walmart to keep an eye on. But I can't seem to find the Amazon listing.
 
Was just able to pick up Animated Ivy, Bane and Robo-man. Pretty much just want Ivy, but the Bruce Wayne civilian is a cool idea for my very limited Animated shelf. Now gotta track down a Phastasm... for the pants!

This is the first time I’ve considered buying a case. That “Many Lives of Superman” is pretty awesome. Just need a properly painted Superman Blue at some point.

I sometimes surprise myself with how much I like this Silver Age stuff. It’s generally my least favorite era of DC. Particularly where Batman and Superman are concerned. But Todd still manages to draw me in.
 
I’m buying more DC Multiverse figures than ever which is kind of funny. What’s not funny is my PERCEPTION that…

1). Some figures will be very difficult to find in the wild, at least for me. I can’t stop at multiple stores multiple days of the week hoping to be in the right place at the right time.

2). Opportunities to preorder are more infrequent and less reliable, especially with tariffs looming large.

That and the fact the line is winding down have caused me to be more reckless with my spending than usual.

Superman (Silver Age), Two Face (Platinum), Dr. Fate (Standard), Adam Strange (Standard), Hourman, and Green Arrow (Connor Hawk) were all purchased in person or ordered online at retail price.

I went to evilBay for Nightmaster, Supergirl, Damage, and Jade (been waiting over 10 years for a fully articulated version of her). Prices ranged from slight overpays to gross overpays.

Fortunately, there’s not much more in the pipeline that’s a priority for me. Collector Editions still seem relatively easy to find or preorder so getting a standard Hawkgirl a retail prices shouldn’t be an issue. Mirror Master will likely be an overpay. Not sure if Mr. Bones and Mr. Miracle are Collectors Editions or not. Those are the ones that come to mind right off the top of my head.

A classic mask/head (with long red hair) would have made the platinum a must buy. As is, the platinum is an easy pass.

EDIT: Well....I went back a half hour later for the heck of it and apparently I was able to get one. Got the email confirmation. It's gone again, though. That was strange.

He's billed as being from The Revenge of the Green Lanterns storyline. Not that that means a whole heck of a lot. No red platinum label after all? Strange.

I was able to preorder Jade and Cyborg Supes. But on two separate orders so no saving on shipping. Went to eBay for the GS SA Bizarro. And overpaid a bit. But that’s caught me up on what’s available.

I was able to get Hank Henshaw Cyborg Superman, but not Jade. I missed on that Bizarro also from a couple of weeks ago. Sigh.
 
Does anyone know if you can preorder figures that are sold out online in-store? Like if I walk into Gamestoop with $5 will they take my pre-order even though it's sold out online? Want that cyborg Superman.
