McFarlane DC Multiverse

Beast Boy is the most irritating thing Todd's done lately - and I know that's saying something.

How are more people not mad about it when he's part of the numbered line?
My sarcastic response is people are so used to being screwed over by either Todd or Hasbro or Mattel that apathy has set in and we're numb to it. You can only expend so much energy yelling into the void of the internet about big name manufacturers f-ing around with distribution games. It's draining :)

And that Robin is a very specific failed story arc All Star Batman Boy Wonder. We really, really need another stab at Dick Grayson Robin-Teen Wonder to pair with the Nightfall Batman - which is as Bronze age as we will ever need. If Todd wants to go all out-lets have 50's boy wonder for our Batman/Bathound pairing.
I might just get a Jokerized version, paint the head, and slap it on Carrie Kelly.

I was checking out the figurineforall website. I saw something I wanted to get but they are suspending shipments to the US until whenever.

It says as of 8/26, you still have until then. I placed an order with them yesterday.

Yea

Yeah, I saw that but figured it would be too tight to order anything. I did check on the item and the shipping is $13, so I'm passing since the price is close to $50.

i did get charged an extra tariff fee for an order from a canadian company... titantoyz. they sent me an updated invoice before they shipped my preorder.
havent had that from the other canadian companies before.

I'm not ruling out panther suit. I give it even money of getting to us before the end. Because Batman.
My biggest want for the line before it ends is give us a near full Burton/Schumacher films line up: Bane, Joker, Panther suit and Gordon are probably the biggest omissions, after that we can have Bob, Vicki Vale, Chase, Ice Armor Batfamily and then any of the other looks for Joker, Ivy and Riddler with the suit and hat. I'd even take Dr Woodrue to get another villain of sorts on the shelf.

I'll take any of those I can get, figures from those four movies are my main wants from Todd, but I think a lot of those are super long shots. In a prefect world I'm hoping for: Nicholson Joker (I'm also not ruling him out), Bob, and Bane.

I would probably take any alt costumes we can get like panther suit and ice armors, but at this point I'd just be happy with one version of everyone which we already got.

I think we can safely write off the girlfriends, Vikki and Chase, I don't think they're happening. Woodrow is a long shot but I'd be interested.

Oddball want: Billie Dee Two-Face as seen in the Batman 89 comic.

Billie Dee should have been Two-face in Forever that's probably my one biggest gripe about those 4 films as it was such an glaring change, they should have at least chosen another black actor if they didn't want Billie. Even I as a kid I noticed that change was so inconsistent as Harvey looked drastically different. Hope how I've worded that doesn't offend anyone as that isn't my intention.

But yeah the girlfriends aren't likely sadly, Bob definitely has a better chance especially since we're getting Max Shreck. But Joker and Bane are the biggest wants for sure out of those.

Looking at my DC collection thanks to Todd I have an awesome film figure collection, an awesome through the ages Dick Grayson collection (minus the new 52 joker head and vampire variants), and upgraded and added to the animated, arrowverse and arkham games collection. I don't have many wants left but when the line is all said and done I'm going to pick up a few figures that could fit in with those collections like Starfire for the DG shelf, Ragman and Captain Boomerang for the arrowverse. Maybe a 2nd Boomerang for films collection.

Agreed on all of that, but those Schumacher films were so far removed in terms of tone from the Burton movies that it almost doesn't matter. If Billie Dee was in the exact same Batman Forever movie that we got, would it have made it any better? Maybe? I guess? But that film had a lot of issues. One of my biggest gripes was that Jones' Two-Face was just trying to match Carrey's Riddle in terms of over-the-topness and it just got to be too much. Maybe Billie Dee would have played it different? We'll never know. But Jones (and Carrey) were both on the "it" list of actors at the time so of course they get their superhero movie. Heck, that's a tradition that's still going 30 years later.

Anyway, this is the Billie Dee Two-Face that I would love to get. It's super niche. I know not everyone would need this to consider their movie collection complete, but hope lies in the fact that Todd has done super niche figures in the past and, of course.......it's Batman.

That's a very good point about the tone difference and them being "it" at the time. It's odd that Jones was trying to out do Carrey considering there's that famous story of him and Carrey not getting on.

I don't think Billie Dee would have improved the film as I think the studio had to much say in how Forever and B&R went in order to sell more merchandise.

The first run of Batman '89 comics I really enjoyed but Echoes not so much. I'd love to see a comic or animated film of what Batman 5/Triumphant was going to be like.

While I will most certainly not buy any of the things you’re discussing, I wouldn’t be too quick to write anything off. Todd has shown us what he’s capable of in terms of character selection. The only constraint now is time. Bob the Goon and Vicki Vale just might be achievable.

No insult intended to anyone, but I’m just not a live action superhero fan. Came to terms with that years ago.
