McFarlane DC Multiverse

I have the original "collector's edition" Wonder Woman and I have the newest one. I can't keep both.

I like the metallic red on the first one but the face is a bit too made up.

I like the hair and the face on the newest one but the reds fall a bit flat compared to the first release.

In extreme cases like this I will run it buy the wife. At first she liked the head on the original release more, but the more she thought about it, the more she warmed up to the head on the new release. She did not give a definitive answer.

I wonder how much I could get selling the new release with no head........
 
Can you mix and match the torsos?

Aside from hands, I've had good luck just pulling apart McF figs for easy swaps. But if the figure doesn't come with alt hands, I think they are sculpted different because those are the hands I've broken trying to swap with someone else's hands. You'd think they'd be the same but... McF.
 
I have a feeling that this figure is going to be more sought after once the new "Batman: Knightfall" animated movie comes out.



It's pretty much the same look that Batman is sporting in the movie. (Except for the shorter ears). But he has the yellow oval, dark blue, and pointy cape shoulders.

The heads swap free and easy and the skin tones match perfectly, swapping parts is no problem.

But I've hit another snag: I used think I was completely sold on the old body with the metallic reds. But now I'm looking at the new WW next to digital Superman (which is my locked-in definitive Superman for this line) and their reds and blues match pretty darn perfectly.

I hate to keep both because I like to think I can choose ONE, but.........
