McFarlane DC Multiverse

Billy Dee Two-Face is a definite buy for me if I can find him. I've spotted plenty of red platinums in the past, so hopefully he's easy to find. I'll buy the Joe Quinones Batman as well, as I absolutely loved that first '89 miniseries. Really felt authentic to the original two films. The second mini, not so much.

I'm winding down on Todd, but I still love his odd ball choices like Sentinel. There was a time I would've flipped over that figure!
 
Something occurred to me. I try not to bitch too much, but as a longtime JSA fan, it’s sometimes difficult.

In DCD we got a Hawk two-pack with swappable GA/SA heads. OK cool.

In DCUC we got a GA Hawkman with a rumor of a GA Hawkgirl that never surfaced. There may even have been a render.

In DCM we get a GA Hawkgirl with no hint of a GA Hawkman anywhere to be seen.

Please Mattel, fix this shit.

Love the classic figure selection of this wave. But……. I really want Beast Boy in his red and white outfit. Like in 99.8% of the stories I’ve read with him. Hopefully there’s a variant.

And I almost bought a McF Kid Flash a while back to update my mini-Mattel one. But left it on the shelf figuring why trade one out of scale figure with another?

The rest of the choices are great, but I’m happy with my Mattel and /or DCD versions, and have no need for another.

Money saved.

I grabbed the ones I had a connection with. New 52 Wonder Woman is a great run. GA Hawkgirl was in the JSA (big deal for me). New 52 Hawkgirl wasn’t a JSA member because the JSA didn’t exist. 😡 For Ivy, I just went with the one I liked most.
 
Nice! Definitely pre ordering all 3 tomorrow. Hopefully that regular Wave of Multiverse goes up for pre order soon too with Black Adam and Brainiac.

But I'll be on to get these Collector's Edition figures. I've got to be online then anyways to get the MOTU Origins Tauraton figure.
 
I believe we will see the rumored John Wesley Shipp Flash and Lynda Carter Wonder Woman figures. It's possible they could be new sculpts but may not be ready until later in the year, so fill up the space with repaints until then.
