Born on the cob
My Harley & Joker order updated last night too, label created. Excited to start seeing people's in-hand pics and reviews. Guess I'll get started trying to paint a golden gun for Joker.
Sure, but the Vaults require no extra tooling. Much easier to drop into a production schedule wherever they need. By projecting something forward over the next six months they’re guaranteeing consumer interest, a retail framework and shelf space to the end of the year, while they get their ducks in a row for what is apparently 70+ more figures (if leaks are to be believed) about to suddenly crash into the market.Nope - because the Vault re-releases are coming out at the end of the license. That may be the cause of the lull, but that extension would have had to have been known for such a long time that I don't think it would cause this extremely weird lull.
Been thinking the same thing for a while now. The last actual new figures were rolled out in April. The repaint Batman wave was May. Plus the Vault waves. Tomorrow’s preorder is a Gunslinger Spawn statue. After that, there are no McFarlane preorder dates in the EE Drop Zone. The next Collectors Edition wave is obviously coming, but in two out of three cases, we’ve seen the Platinums first. No official announcement, no preorder date, no glamour shots.Just weird to have several weeks with nothing officially on the horizon, unlike previous times when there’s been livestream or convention reveals already so we know that something is coming at some point. And there’s a definite endstop this time. Tick-tock, Todd!
As has happened in the past, this could all change in an instant, of course. I just want my wallet to be prepared.
In typical Todd fashion, you know the Hush Ivy is gonna smoke this one like a Smithfield ham.
Supposedly there’s an entire wave of Hush figures coming with Ivy reportedly part of the lineup.Isn't the Hush one the Platinum?
