McFarlane DC Multiverse

Out of ALL the Batman's McFarlane has made, the one I mess around with the most, at home and when I take DC figures to work for my desk, is No Mans Land Batman. It has my preferred colors of blue and gray, the long years and the pouch belt plus the yellow oval Bat symbol on the chest all on the Knightfall body. I would gladly buy the exact same figure as is with the capsule belt. I would customize it using the Justice League Batman but I suck at customizing. The look with the long ears just reminds me a lot of my favorite Batman artist Jim Aparo. He is also the most poseable of all the Batman's I did add wire to the cape on each side to allow some pose ability to it.

That sounds exactly like the JL Batman to me. Capsule belt with the Aparo head.

Anyone have the NECA Gargoyles Elisa Maza figure and can pair her with a McF Superman for a photo, please? Curious how she looks as a potential Lois.

That's not a bad idea. I've had my eye on her as a potential Montoya lol

I never did come across a Gordon, so I currently have an old Walter White staction figure as a stand-in, with Spawn's Sam (from Sam & Twitch) as Bullock, and was going to find an Elisa for Montoya.

I sold my Gargoyles off, but I did use her as a Lois. It was passable, but it also just looks like Eliza, and I didn't like how the portrait did not match the Superman style.

Your mileage, etc.

Now I'm wondering if I deleted a shipping notice about Harley assuming it was more McFarlane marketing. I did get the SOON email and opened it but I generally ignore their emails lately.

Yeah, I never got the original email update from a week or so ago, and nothing since. Out of curiosity, I signed into my McFarlane account, and the Drawing Board order now shows up under my "orders placed", with an order date of yesterday (the 29th), and awaiting fulfillment. So I guess that's promising.

Out of curiosity, which tier did you support? I wonder if they're going in order from the single figures to the bundles.

I have indeed received a shipping notice for the movie Harley Quinn that we all forgot about.
I never forgot! I've been very patiently anticipating!!

I've received notice on Level 1 and 2 - and then a cancellation notice on the one I cancelled months ago when I realized Level 1 didn't even come with accessories.

Freaked out for a minute until I realized it wasn't about my Level 4 order, which I've heard nothing about.

Hey, now that we seem to be on pause before apparently ramping up again, anyone think that where we are right now, with the figures currently out (Supergirl movie figures and the OMAC/Bronze Tiger/Eclipso/etc wave) is where McFarlane's license was originally planned to conclude, before they were granted an extension to the end of the year?

So the reason we're seeing a lull, aside from the Ivy/Hawkgirl/Wonder Woman unofficially trickling out, is because McF never expected to go much farther than those, and the 'Vault' re-releases are there to just buy some time before the last roll-out?

Nope - because the Vault re-releases are coming out at the end of the license. That may be the cause of the lull, but that extension would have had to have been known for such a long time that I don't think it would cause this extremely weird lull.

Just noticed - Millie Kara has no toe articulation! That's pretty rare for a McF figure. But looks good.

Her gangliness really bothers me now that I've opened her and I hate the sculpt of her skirt - it's poofy in all the wrong spots. I wonder if I could mix and match a better version with existing SGs...
