McFarlane DC Multiverse

Seems awfully caramel colored skin on Routh like that mullet Superman Page Puncher. Don't need it.

Why does Savage Dragon have a fu-manchu? I realize it's probably a later version of him, but is that the one everyone is going to pay $60 for?

Out of everything shown so far at NYTF all I want is the Clock King baf and the Superman Returns figure. Saw the TDK trilogy Joker in package nothing new from the previous release other than swappable hands and weapons.

Yep, all that I'm getting so far is that Clock King, but I imagine there'll be plenty of Super Powers for me on the horizon...

I had been considering Savage Dragon but the physiology (while accurate) is just too top heavy 80s MOTU figure for me. I'll see how Spartan looks, but honestly NOT wanting a new $60 is fine with my wallet.

I see these figures as a sort of trial balloon. If they do well, he’ll make more. Hopefully in a more economical format. I’m not looking forward to seeing the end of Todd’s tenure on DC. I don’t have a lot of faith in Mattel either. I don’t want to quit collecting and I don’t want to collect Spawn. Too dark, too derivative, and too redundant. Or Marvel Legends. It’s been running for way too long for me to play catch up. I only collect comic book figures and ideally, I’d like to continue in the 7” scale. Hellboy expands us past just Image. And Geiger takes us past the Image founders. I was sort of hoping to see Geiger this weekend.

The Shadowhawk looks really good and I'll be picking that up. The Savage Dragon looks too ridiculous for me. I get that its pretty accurate to the art but the legs are too skinny for me to actually want. Similar with Hellboy, its actually too faithful to Mignola's art for me to want as a figure. I will probably get Spartan though.
