McFarlane DC Multiverse

Yeah but those skywalkers are trying to. Even in the comic right now every artist does shoot for likeness.

I think that's different than going off model and saying it's still the same dude.

Lots of good stuff there! I'm assuming that the Batman Animated playset is probably a re-issue of the Batcave.

I've got Mattel or DC Direct Collectibles versions of all of these characters I believe, so nothing truly new - but I'll likely buy all of these except maybe the Flash and Superman.

Glad to see some more Legion of Super Heroes representation, but it's getting late in the game for only the 2nd member...

Depending on execution I could be in for Jessica Cruz, Elongated Man, Cosmic Boy, Ice and Rocket Red.

For Ralph I want the red and black costume so I hope that is the general release and the purple and white is the platinum. But because thats what I'd prefer, I'm sure it will be the opposite 😅

I'm in for Professor Pyg if true. Really grown to love that kooky, spooky guy. The Arkham Knight figure still holds up pretty well, but a comic Pyg is certainly welcome.

I'm eagerly awaiting the Returns pre-order too. It feels like it could/should be imminent. Didn't they say they were still coming out in 2025?

Yeah, a comic accurate Professor Pyg is great news. I don't need another Batcave, but I'm happy for those who passed on the DCD version, as it's an incredible set. If this is somehow a different BTAS playset, I'm in on almost anything they'd make. Just can't see them producing something all-new for that line.

I’m in for most of it. Execution is key really. As usual.

A true SA Barry and Jay would just crush it.

Been hoping for Blackhawk since we started. When I saw Steve Trevor, I knew it was happening.

The Authority Superman is a great Michael Janin design for one of Grant Morrison’s last DC projects. Vaguely tied into Future State, sort of anyway. Divergent timeline and all that. It’s cape-less, short sleeves with red gauntlets. And it just slaps. My opinion anyhow. Superman is team leader of a future version of the Authority. He’s not as powerful as before and he is running the missions Professor X style.

Generally speaking, this is usually a tease. Other of these Instagram rumor mongers will have other rumors with a full list appearing in a week or two.

It was, at best, a modern version of the armor - neither the army builder original or the upgraded Apokolips armor from the JL Europe. Actually, looking at it now I'm pretty sure it is a legit then-modern version. It was S.T.R.I.P.E. that had never appeared in the form they released.

Gotcha. Thanks. I’m on the fence about him myself. I can’t release him from being an army builder in my head canon. And I’m just not an army builder guy. Reserving judgment for what he actually looks like though.

I thought, for sure, when McF got the license, that Rocket Red and S.T.R.I.P.E. were sure-things for the line. Bulky, badass armor just seems like it's in Todd's wheelhouse.
