McFarlane DC Multiverse

My pre-order for Black Condor, Gangbuster, Jack Knight and Larfleeze shipped from DJC yesterday but I missed the pre-order for the wave of Bloodwynd, Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian and Tim Drake Robin before the platinums sold out, so I hope to be able to find those at retail. I don't really care about that Robin but would like to get the other 3.

I was hoping Miss Mariam would go up for preorder on GameStop. I’m going to do my best to find one at Target, but that’s a longshot since I can’t be there when they open every morning. I wish they opened at 7:00 instead of 8:00.
 
Did Jack Knight ever go up for regular release? I swear I stop paying attention for a few days and I lose track of everything with this line.

Miss Martian will cross off one of my VERY few remaining must-haves.
 
Fun story! My box from Best Buy arrived right as I was leaving for Target and contained two regular Jacks, two regular Canaries and the Platinum Supergirl, who I don't really want.

I was a little disappointed but went to Target anyway, hoping for the new PP wave. Nothing! Not a new thing in the aisle, and even the clearance stuff is gone. Boo.

I went to check the price scanners to see if Target is getting the new Deluxe Dogpool (it's in the system) and decided to find someone with a scanner to ask about PP. But what I find is a stock cart with an empty McFarlane Collector Edition box. HMMMMM... I find the employee and I ask her to scan (nothing) and then if this box was just put out. She said yeah - over there. Pointed to a section that never stocks McFarlane (the NECA Haulathon endcap) and I bolted over - both kinds of Canary, Plat Jack, regular Supergirl, Freddy and Lobo - I grabbed everyone but the reg Canary.

This trip turned from a bummer into perfection! Really wanted Plat Canary and I *really* like the Pink Jack in person. That is a striking color combo that really works. I also like his black eyebrows rather than green.

So if my Best Buy order hadn't arrived exactly when it did I would have missed this case getting put out at Target with all the things I didn't get in the first box. :) This feeling is rare these days.
 
...and that didn't last - how come no one is talking about how Canary is once again A GIANT?!?

Are these the damn Super Woman legs AGAIN?!? I was so glad Zatanna FINALLY got some new legs and now we're back to these? This is absurd.

If you've got both, I think the black glove hands look nice on the regular. Goes with her whole leather look.

This was my original pic but I realized I'd popped both Canaries heads off to see if more neck helped the overall look. It definitely does but also contributed to the giant factor. The chokers are down as far as they'll go.
