Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

Yeah, I actually hope he is. Good, I hope they are right. I would like to purchase these but not at 5.5 inches.
Yeah, just check them in the actors hands. Just rough estimate has them at Marvel Legend size at the smallest.

MAN, I hope they go buckwild on this line. Give it all to me. Roboto, Spikor, Beast Man, Goat Man, Fisto, Sorceress, Ram Man, Mek-A-Nek, anyone else we don't know about.

That Battlecat looks MAGNIFICENT in the promo photos. I hope they do scale with other lines and they're not some random scale. I actually just bought a back up Masterverse Battlecat super discounted just because I want one for the future so I wouldn't be surprised if they went and released a far better version that scales with Masterverse, but I really can't tell. They don't look tiny in the pics, but they don't look quite as enormous as Masterverse.

Better angle on skelly and trapy, wow!!!

Honestly, I'm pretty sure these are 1/12 scale. True 1/12 scale, meaning most normal humans are around 5.5". But since these are super humans, they're probably around 6.5" tall.

I mean look at this:

Masterverse figures look bigger than these. I'm pretty sure these are around that sweet 6.5" size, which honestly only makes me more excited!

Both Cami Mendes and Allison Brie seem to feign enthusiasm for the likenesses of their action figures. Neither seem really pleased or excited to see small versions of themselves in those videos, or at least that’s the vibe I get. The Teela figure looks better but the Evil Lyn face looks so bored. I don’t think a lot of actors actually love seeing the attempts at recreating their likeness in plastic.

Shit. I don't want to do a whole new line. But I'm almost certainly getting that Battlecat, regardless of whether my resolve eventually collapses.

Saw an official post clarifying that these are 1:12 scale.

If I was a beautiful movie star and just landed my multi-movie, multi-million dollar, geek franchise/mealticket movie roll, getting to pose with my action figure just might trump all of that.

I hope the movie does well and the figures look promising, but I can't go in on this line. I'm filling holes in my vintage MOTU figures with the new Origins figures, but my general fondness for MOTU doesn't mean I can spend money and clear space for more Man-At-Arms, Tesla, Triklops etc figures. If anything I might get a He-Man to pose next to my Super 7 "Dolph Lundgren" figure.....if they scale well together.
