Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

They're not. There's no way. Look at them in the guy's hands. And I saw Ace say on Instagram that they were Masterverse scale. There's no way these are anywhere near 5.5 inch.

Edit: I stand corrected, Ace corrected himself and said they are "slightly smaller". I can't imagine going from 7 inch to 5.5 would qualify as "slightly" smaller.

I might get He-Man, Skeletor and Battle Cat if I end up liking the movie and the latter two figures look good. Otherwise I'll have to console myself with my Mondo's and limit myself to that.

The way I heard it was they were about Classified size. That's how it was described on GDL's stream, who I think was also getting his info from the Ramen guy. Toy Fair's only a couple weeks out, guess we'll see. On that note, though, Pixel Dan is saying the Mattel press event for MOTU isn't until the Monday of the event, so we might be waiting till the end to see more new stuff.

I think Preternia was wrong on scale. I mean, just judging based off of in hand images there. I guess we shall find out soon enough.

Yep they do look good but sorry Mattel I'm not collecting anything at a 5.5 inch scale. Those days are over and done with for me.

...do those look to be anywhere in the 5 inch scale to you? Unless every single person holding them is the tiniest person ever, those are clearly larger.

Also, another observation: BUTTERFLY SHOULDERS.

I haven't felt this excitement for a toyline in a good, long while. Great feeling.

I'm going by what preternia posted on his Instagram page and he's usually never wrong.
