Those actually look really good. I hope 5.5" leans a little big so they fit with 1:12 movie figures. Double elbows on Evil Lyn are welcome but that likeness does not do the lovely Allison Brie justice.
 
I'm curious if the scale rumors hold true, because those look very much like they're in re-purposed Masterverse boxes and they have a very 'movie-fied Masterverse' look to the figures as well.
They actually look pretty damn good and goddamn it am I going to collect ANOTHER MOTU line? I said I wouldn't....
 
Oh, yeah, those are definitely Masterverse-style.
For some reason before only a few of the TNI pictures were loading. I was wondering what you guys were even talking about because all I could see was the pic above and the packaged MAA. All the other pics were giving me loading errors. Didn't realize that was just a me problem until I went and reloaded just now.

Definitely Masterverse figures. This is why I only use TNI for pictures and not actual information.

He does get information and he has been doing this a long time. However every time I watch him he has numerous pronunciation errors of people and things that someone who has been in this hobby a long time shouldn't be making. Then of course as stated he makes assumptions about stuff that 5 seconds on Google should clarify.

As to the figures, they look good but I currently don't have any interest in this line right now. Maybe that will change once the movie comes out but at best I see this being a "pick and choose" line rather than going mostly all in. Tri-Klops looks good, MAA looks good (except for his helmet), He-Man looks okay and Evil-Lyn doesn't look good to me at all right now.
 
Those DEFINITELY don't look remotely like 5.5". They definitely seem to be Masterverse rebranded.

I doubt I'll be getting these, because I'm not really interested in movie designs, but Idris MAA looks really good, and the movie He-Man seems to be pretty solid. Evil Lynn is the stinker based on these pics...that doesn't look remotely like Alison Brie! I might be tempted if they do some characters in here that I don't already have represented on the shelf, but honestly I think that's a pretty slim possibility.
 
Currently, the only stuff I collect in Masterverse is specific versions of the characters that don't exist in Origins (or may as well not exist in Origins). Meaning, my entire Masterverse collection is the 87 movie and New Adventures stuff (well, He-Man.. I still have to track down Skeletor and Slushhead eventually). So if these turn out nice, it's kind of an easy layup for Mattel to convince me to get THIS movie's figures to go with the OTHER movie figures.

I have to say While the likeness isn't great I do like the look of evil lyn in this movie and the outfit seems accurate enough to what we saw in the trailer. Still definitely disappointed as I was hoping for something better for her. I am very impressed with the Idris Elba likeness as that looks pretty great. Ill probably pick up him and he-man and then judge how much of the rest of the line I want.

Well maybe they will do goat man since he was in the trailer next to skeletor . It depends on how deep Mattel is going with the movie line
