Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

Been keeping an eye on the Scareglow listing on WalMart's site. Was hovering around $55 for a while (3rd party seller), and apparently dipped down to $36 some time overnight, because he's out of stock now. I know I should probably just bite the bullet at $55 or so, because then he'll inevitably go on sale for cheaper, but it still feels like a little too much.

Office Skeletor I could foresee selling the best out of the 3. I'd bet a lot of folks with office jobs would grab one for their desk. Part of me feels like they should've just released all 3 in a 3-pack or something, but I guess this is nice for folks who'd only want one or two.

So, I'm a fucking idiot and paid full goddamn price (35 CAD) when I found dark blue Skeletor at Walmart earlier today. Fucking idiot.
I do like him better.
 
Today I drove to the very edge of the distance that I am willing to drive with my two girls in tow to look for a Scareglow. It was not to be. I will spare the details of what lead me to believe one might be out there, but I learned that knowing the Scareglow UPC will be of little help in tracking one down.

However, they did have every Chronicles movie figure released so far on clearance for $16.50

I feel for you, my friend. That's why I've started pronouncing "UPC" as "Oops", because every time I've ever felt the drive and bravery to try looking one up or giving one to the employee to look up, it's always proven to be a waste of time.

Ya'll seem to have the cool stores, though. Every time I go visit home and actually have access to a WalMart or Ross, they never have anything, especially on clearance.

I was so torn. I already have He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, and Trap Jaw. I don't need more and I don't need to buy something just because it's a great price. I took consolation in the fact that I happen to feel these figures are one of the best retail offerings out there right now and even at full price I don't feel ripped off. It will be fine.
 
Found a full teeth Skeletor today at Target. Couldn’t tell if it was the darker blue skin, so I bought it anyway to compare to the one I have at home and it’s the same skin color. I wonder how obvious the difference is if you don’t have the other to compare it to on the spot…

Also, BBTS IS PROCESSING CHRONICLES TEELA!!!
 
I have yet to see the darker blue Skeletor with the extra teeth. I saw three of the light blue yesterday at Walmart and one of the light blue today at Target. With nothing to compare it to I'm honestly very satisfied having the light blue one.

Teela and GI Joe Dawn both processing.....that will be a nice package to get.

I can't speak for everyone as I'm colorblind and see things differently. But I saw the darker blue Skeletor from 10 feet away in package and knew it was not the one I already had.
