Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

Maybe they'll release a version that doesn't have electronics for cheaper and with more general availability? But that would probably shoot themselves in the foot for sales of this fancy version.

I'm running on the assumption that he's a Creations exclusive since he was basically a cameo and they'll release a non movie version in the main Chronicles line at some point (he was on Scareglow's box art if I recall and it feels like he's due an updated toy version as Masterverse didn't do a New Eternia version).

Yeah, I'd say it's always safe to say that an Orko is a lock for any retail MOTU line. It's just a matter of when. I wouldn't put it past Mattel to have a 'regular' version in stores at the same time this one is hitting online.

Curious what his actual size is. I'd guess the website is wrong considering they're calling Chronicles He-Man 5.5" tall.

Also, I don't know what Gen Y'er wrote the copy for him, but they would be wise to remove this:
"and a special stand that lets him literally float above your shelf. "

He is connected to a stand. By definition he is not LITERALLY floating, and saying that the figure will LITERALLY float is gonna get Mattel sued.

Does it say how the eyes blink? Light piping? Battery?
I'd assume the latter. It doesn't specify, but in the video, they show it blinking on its own (sorta, since it's basically stop-motion), and the description mentions a "randomized" blink option. Given the nature of his body, it seems pretty easy to hide a little battery compartment in there.
