What if we introduced alternate toe-bend feet? Like grip hands. You just swap 'em out when he needs to crouch.
Similar - something I really like about SHF DBZ figures is when figures like Vegeta come with an alternate set of arms that are sculpted in the 'crossed arms' position, since that's so iconic to him but also not something an action figure can actually be expected to do with articulated arms.Probably not something Superhero dudes care about, but alternate legs entirely to get proper crouches, seating, and kneeling are also cool ideas imports do that might open up options for the set it and forget it collectors.

It's one of those things where it crosses into statue territory, but the honest fact is that an action figure is a statue whenever you're not playing with it. It's just a statue you can have posed how you want, whenever you want. So if there's extra pieces that make some of those poses better and more believable... sure, why not.Yeah, I used to be against it since I like posing and figures just holding their own, but once I started using them even just for a quick photo, I became a believer.
The latter is me most of the time. I have too many toys and too little time to be messing with all of them all the time. MOST of them are just 'choose a pose and enjoy it for a few weeks, then choose a different pose, rinse repeat.'Exactly. Sometimes I wanna play or fidget, sometimes I like setting up some poses and just admiring them for a few days.
