Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

My Sy-Klone's hips exploded due to Gold Plastic Syndrome. Irritating. I replaced them with hips from the first Faker release; when he's posed you can't see them under the skirts.

I wish they'd just made the gold parts yellow. That gold-swirl plastic is always inherently brittle. I suspect the inevitable Vintage Collection version will correct that though.

Masterverse has a few issues like this - the rubber on my Ram Man also tore apart after a couple of years. I like a lot of the things they try with this line - Mer-Man's eyes are really cool - but there are times I wish they'd just stick with the basics.

That list goes hard man. I would buy all of that in an instant.

Something I wish they would do before Masterverse ever ends, which I hope it doesn't for some time, is make at least one of everyone from the vintage collection. Which they aren't too far from achieving at this point. The Rock Men, Extendar, Blast Attack, the Snake Men you mentioned, Saurod.

There aren't many that still need made. In a perfect world I'd like to have every vintage character in New Eternia/Etheria style. We got some of the vintage characters when the Revelations/Revolutions cartoons were out. But I'd prefer New Eternia looks. Especially for Scareglow and Prince Adam
 
I got notice Adora/Despara has shipped from BBTS. I ordered x2 of her. She and the rest of the Wave are all up for pre order again too if anyone needs them. The Wave has been sold out most places for a while now. So, go pre order them if you need Adora, Keldor, or Dragstor.

Despara and Dragstor hit my BBTS PoL today as well! I'm waiting on some DC Multiverse figures to hit before I ship though.

Nice! I went and checked to see the status of mine after seeing your post, and sure enough, they are processing now. It also looks like BBTS got in the Origins Queen marlena figure.

So, this is the last Wave of Masterverse we know about, right? There hasn't been a Wave announced past this one, correct?

I take it if so, we won't know anymore Waves until Toy Fair, which will probably be full of Movie figures in the Masterverse line.

2026 and we are getting all this MOTU stuff and a Movie. Amazing.
 
Ooh... Batros is one I would love to get - partly because of the Mauve skin tone... I would buy multiple extras because so many of the knock off MOTU lines had figures with that color...Baltard, Deevil, etc...
 
I got Mosquitor and he had.... two right wings. Which was annoying as shit. I managed to trim the socket ans wing mount and reverse it, so it works, but it's still annoying.

And Adora is due MOnday! So yay!
 
Just got Anti-Eternia He-Man. He is way cooler than he really should be, y'know? Like the paint and drybrushing and stuff just make him pop and that weird headgear is eerie AF.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that and now I'm stressed out about mine. Stuff like that gives me so much anxiety because I don't always have everything on display and I worry that I'll like, just have fun figures break while they're not in shelf rotation and I'll never get to enjoy them. (My Sy-Klone is in a box with a few other heroic Etrernia dudes and I'd be gutted if the hip thing gets him while he's not even out for display.)
 
I got in the new Masterverse Wave with Adora/Despara, Dragstor, and Keldor. A very unusual, yet very satisfying and solid Wave,

When Keldor was first revealed, I hated him. Over time, I wondered "do I actually like that thing?" Having it in hand.......I love this figure. It is such an odd, yet somehow excellent and elegant choice for Prince Keldor.

I got 2 Adora's and 2 Keldor's and am glad I did, because there is a nice amount of display options for both. With Adora you can have New Etheria Force Captain Adora, Despara, or regular Adora.

For Keldor you can have him as Prince Keldor with his long black hair, you can have him as Keldor with a hood on, which makes him look like a mage or sorcerer, or you can have him with his burnt, "holy sh** I got acid on my face" head sculpt.

Then, there is Dragstor. He looks more like what you'd expect, but damn it, he's cool too. Overall, a very well-done Wave once again, even though a very odd group of 3, with some very different and unique choices for Adora and Keldor.
 
I hit ship on my POL with just Adora from this wave (and some other random stuff) in it thinking I didn't want Keldor but I have regrets, but I also now think I might want a second Adora so maybe I'll just end up tracking down another one of her to ship with Keldor. The white shirt on him put me off during the preorder stage but I keep seeing really cool pics of him.

TOTALLY unrelated, anyone know how interchangeable the different He-Man heads/bodies are? I was futzing around with the Revolution version of the Battle Armor look but had him set up without any chest armor and he's probably my favorite He-Man to pose, but I REALLY love the New Eternia bearded face, and now I think I want to get an extra one to pop the beardy head on to be my go-to "He-Man, but kinda lEternia John Wick vibes" figure in this line.

Super easy, generally!
I’ve got that bearded head on the Flying Fists body/armor with the gold Power Sword from Thunder Punch, and that’s my “older/King” He-Man. Although since Eternia is a democracy now, I guess he’s, like, Prime Minister He-Man? Actually he probably wouldn’t run for office, so like Judicially Appointed Protector He-Man?
. . . I’m overthinking it.

Thanks for this. I kinda want to put the bearded head on everyone, to be honest. King He-Man with th egold armor is a brilliant idea. I'm looking for a "washed up on a desert island" look one, too.

Nice of them to actually use heads and neck pegs that are interchangable on the same character, innit? What a revolutionary idea in the age of modern toys!
 
What's surprising is how midway they changed WRIST pegs. For instance, you can't use wave one Revelation Moss Man's extended hand vine thing on the New Eternia Moss Man (Beast Man base) because the wrist pegs got thicker further down the line. Neck pegs stayed pretty consistent, and are actually compatible with Origins neck pegs!
 
My Keldor is en route from BBTS, and I plan to use one of my four or five Masterverse Skeletors to customize him to look more like the classic 200X Keldor.
