Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

Most other lines I collect are “toys made of things that I already liked in other media before they were toys”, but MotU and G.I. Joe are my “toys that I love BECAUSE they were toys FIRST” true loves. And when it comes to Masterverse/Vintage, (and Classified, for that matter), it’s even more than that: it’s toys that finally start to match what my imagination created around the original toys when I played as a kid. Like they never made a Skeletor back in the day that was as cool and creepy and gnarly as what I saw in my head, and yet Masterverse does it like every other wave!
 
I do love Marvel, but I think of stopping Legends sometimes myself. Just because, I think I have everyone I could ever want. I was able to stop for the most part TMNT. I just have so many lines of the Turtles from the vintage collection to now. Not that I won't still buy a Super7 or NECA Turtle here and there. But I have everything I could hope for.

So, I don't know why I haven't been able to stop Marvel.

But with MOTU, I have everything I could hope for too. And have nearly all of every MOTU toy line from the vintage collection to now. But, even toying with just not buying the vintage collection in Masterverse to save a little space and money.......it just feels stressful.

MOTU is just too important, I guess.

Sounds as reasonable as anything else I've heard. I'll just apply that to everything I currently collect, that way I feel like I single handedly saved the economy, fandom, and He-Man.

Masterverse-wise, it's really only Moss Man that they list here. Mostly Origins stuff, as usual.

But one, I hate that they seem to be Wal-Mart exclusive, and two, I already have SO MANY He-Man figures in their traditional looks be it from the 80's line, Classics, Origins, etc.

What I like most about Masterverse is the New Eternia stuff. I don't know. I don't know if I have the will power not to collect the vintage collection lol.

But I toy with the notion from time to time.

I almost didn’t buy zodak but I really liked the accessories on the vintage one. The energy shield and blast effect are both cool

Motu was my first action figure line I really loved as a kid. And it’s the primary one I still collect. I still buy other stuff but mostly it’s selective or if it’s on sale.

Most of the classified stuff I really wanted were hasbro exclusives that sold out before I could grab them (nemesis and serpent or mostly)

I love vintage collection Zodac's accessories! I wasn't even aware of all he came with when I ordered him. But I couldn't believe how much fun I had posing and displaying him. It's not like he comes with a lot of stuff either. Just good, fun stuff that works really well.
 
I've got charges on my card from Amazon today for what should be the Randor/Roboto/Beast Man wave. Bit behind the times, but at least they're coming.
 
Same. Beast Man coming Friday. Shame Randor and Roboto are still "surged priced" at around $26. Stupid scalper Amazon.
 
I caught all three at the $21.99 pricing. Just got a shipping notice and should have them tomorrow.
 
Yeah, but will you be in the ELITE cool kids club of people who got BA Skeletor and still haven't opened him?!
