Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

I would definitely buy new Scareglow figures. New Eternia or Vintage Collection. And while they're at it, since both Mondo and Funko have done it now, I wish Mattel would make a Scare Mare for Masterverse.

And since they'd then have the horse body all tooled, might as well give us Swift Wind/Spirit.
 
Vintage Scare-Glow would be an easy layup for them, just like it was in MotU Classics. New head, new cape, new weapon, done.
For New Eternia they’d need to go all-out, but they could find lots of fun uses for a skeletal body . . .
 
I'm not a big vehicle guy with other toy lines but mounts in this line just put the figures over the top. Nothing would be better than a NE Scareglow with Scare Mare. Hell, if they don't make it, maybe I'll just find a way to customize the McF horse BAF. These figures become affordable centerpieces with a good mount.
 
I know it's been brought up already by someone else who's either seen it or done it, but I was able to pick up the McF DC Seahorse from the Aquaman movie. It's like the exact iridescent color scheme as New Eternia Merman, and they look like they were made for each other. It even has the same sheen as the new Panthor. I really wish Revelations Battle Cat was on par with both of them stylistically. I imagine it will be unlikely that they'll redo BC in this style, considering how the Revelations one is still easy to find, sometimes for very cheap.

I'd love to see some dragons or mythic beasts like the Griffin, horses, goats, lizards.. all rideable or oversized so they can be like pets/companions.
 
I definitely picked up that seahorse when I first saw someone do that. Looks great with the NE Mer Man.
 
I want a Masterverse Scare Mare SO bad... and obviously that tooling could be employed to do Swiftwind and Arrow as well. I would buy all of them.

I had my Classics Mer Man riding a Jurassic Park Mososaur, but the McF seahorse does seems made for the New Eternia Mer Man

That's a nice Battle Armor Skeletor you have there!

I have my MOTUC Merman on the seahorse because I have more room in that display but the Masterverse one looks like he was made for him and now I need to find a way to make that happen.

I always feel a smidgen of guilt posting my BA Skeletor 😢🙏 I think a lot of other characters/figures would be happy to ride Panthor but BA Skeletor claimed it. Me and BA Skele are both privileged babies.

This line is so wacko, that half the toys either go deep clearance or skyrocket 5-10x in price. For the current price of one BA Skeletor on eBay, I could have bought 25 Pigmans at Target clearance (and they had at least that many at one local store).
 
Battle Armor Skeletors ebay prices are insane. I got one when he first came out from BBTs and had always meant to buy a second. But just didn't get around to it. By the time I did it was sold out on BBTS and EE. And when I looked on Ebay then it was like $100.

Even that seemed crazy. Now it's like $150

But it is a great looking figure.

Speaking of Skeletor, I would imagine BBTS will get in the Masterverse Wave soon with Terror Claws Skeletor, Ninjor, and She-Ra. I know EE already got them in, and AceofKnaves shared some pics. But now I've seen some other people posting pics of the Wave or videos.

So, hopefully BBTS gets them in soon.
 
At some point I'm just going to buy one for $150 so I can be cool too like you guys. I just can't understand what happened with that wave. Was it just underproduced? I've never even seen any of the wave in stores until my work trip last week when I came across a lone Man-At-War at a Target (Man-of-War? I can't remember which). It feels like one of those waves where a shipment got lost and it will show up at the Mattel store in full endcaps at some point.
 
Trouble is, I’m sure they probably won’t reissue New Eternia BA Skelly because I’m sure they want us to buy a Vintage BA Skelly like next year or so.
