Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

Scaling back a bit but took a flyer on Teela, still trying to find the one I'm truly happy with on her. All the villains look great but I think I'll wait on preordering, though Anti-Eternia He-Man looks spectacular, and they haven't bombed on a Mer-Man yet. Might change my mind on Mantenna but I'm always a little meh on him, and Mosquitor's that rare character I just have no attachment to from MOTU. I don't know why but he's never been a must-get.
 
I'm just going to preorder them all and decide later, the true Masterverse way. Except Mantenna, he's not doing it for me with those MOTU Origins-lookin legs (he looks fun though I'll give him that!)
 
I pre ordered Teela and Mer-Man from Wal-Mart, then I pre ordered the new Wave at BBTS. I hope the Vintage Teela's head looks better than KLUT's. it will probably be the same, but I'm hopeful.

I hope I get all the Vintage Collection figures I have pre ordered at Wal-Mart. Man At Arms, Stratos, Teela, and Mer-Man. But it's Wal-Mart. And let's be honest, they......they're not good. They suck Smurf Slaw, is basically what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, I'm not putting good odds on them shipping Stratos. For better or for worse I'm not stressing out about this line the way I am a few others, so I'll grumble and be pissed off but not gutted if they Walmart this again. Stratos is my old favorite, though - I even ordered two because I want to display him with both sets of wings. (One of my earliest memories is being baffled by getting the same figure for my birthday from two people but having different wings, blew my little six year old mind.)

I almost didn't pre order them myself and may cancel every one of the Vintage Collection figures I have on pre order except Teela. I'd like to get the Teela to see if I can swap any parts to make a perfect Teela between Vintage and KLUT.

But I totally get what you're saying about the Vintage Collection. New Eternia is where it's at with Masterverse, and the vintage looks have been obtained in so many other lines such as the literal vintage collection, MOTU Classics, and Origins.

So, I don't know if I really feel I have to have them either. I may join you Justice. Plus, it would be a relief not to chase these since they are exclusive to Hell I mean Wal-Mart
